We wanted to share a deeply heartbreaking story from Dehradun (Vasant Vihar) about Man Bahadur Ji, an honest e-rickshaw driver who lost his life because of someone else’s anger.
On 21 October, a small child suddenly ran onto the road in front of his e-rickshaw. The child was safe and had only a tiny scratch — but the child’s family lost control in anger. They beat Man Bahadur Ji so brutally, then forced him into a vehicle and took him to their home, where they threatened him and took ₹10,000 — ₹7,000 through UPI and ₹3,000 in cash.
The beating was so severe that two veins in his brain burst. He collapsed soon after and was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him brain dead.
Man Bahadur Ji was the only person earning for his family, and now his loved ones are completely shattered. With the help of the police, the child’s father has been arrested, but other family members involved in the attack are still absconding and haven’t been caught yet.

A controversy erupted in Rishikesh after social media influencer **Tanu Rawat** allegedly filmed a dance video in **revealing attire** to popular songs within the premises of the **Shri Jayaram Yog Ashram**.

The **National Hindu Shakti Organisation’s state president, Raghav Bhatnagar**, expressed strong objection, stating that such acts go against the sanctity and cultural values of the holy city and the ashram.

According to reports, the video was shot at night inside the Jayaram Yog Ashram complex, where several flats and shops are located. The organisation questioned how such filming occurred without the knowledge of the ashram’s management or security staff.

When confronted, **Tanu Rawat, her friend, and her mother** reportedly argued that the video was part of her personal and professional life. The situation was later defused by local leaders, including **Lions Club Royal president Pankaj Chandani** and businessman **Lalit Mohan Mishra**.

The incident has sparked debate over **social media freedom vs. cultural sensitivity** in Uttarakhand’s sacred cities.
