Ms. Hage Mamu, IAS (2017 batch), has assumed charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Papum Pare. She succeeds Shri Lobsang Tsering, who has been transferred and posted as the Deputy Commissioner of Namsai.

Ms. Hage Mamu previously served as the Deputy Commissioner of West Siang district from September 2023 to August 2025. Following her tenure, she was selected for the prestigious Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Programme, a Fulbright exchange initiative funded by the United States Department of State.

She is the first direct-recruit IAS officer from the Apatani community and the second person from Arunachal Pradesh to be selected for the highly prestigious Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship.

immediate attention issue regarding the entry of outsiders into Arunachal Pradesh, specifically along the PMGSY road connecting Balijan to Sangdupota and subsequently to the state capital, Itanagar.
