Breaking!!

Hamas announced on Tuesday that its senior leaders survived an Israeli air strike in Doha, the first such attack on Qatari soil. The group said the strike targeted the office of its top negotiator Khalil Al Hayya while leaders were meeting to discuss ceasefire proposals for Gaza. Hamas confirmed five people were killed, including Mr Al Hayya’s son Hammam and his office director.

Qatar confirmed its first casualty from the attack, saying warrant officer Badr Saad Mohammed Al Humaidi Al Dosari of the internal security force Lekhwiya was killed “while performing his duties” at the site.

The Interior Ministry said others were also injured. Doha condemned the strike as a “cowardly attack” and a violation of its sovereignty, warning it threatened regional security.
