Introducing - born and raised in Hokkaido, Japan.
In 2021, he decided to give up his dayjob as a public servant to become a full-time musician and began to produce artwork, working primarily on beat and ambient pieces.

Influenced by Japanese songs, kf13 creates equally nostalgic landscapes. At the heart of his world, however, is an awe of nature and a powerful sense of taking life seriously. Various tones flow back in time and breathe life into the music. It reminds him of the mysterious nature along with nostalgia.

Above all, scenes from his childhood are the source of inspiration for his work. When he opens the door of the synthesizer, the woven world takes on a nostalgic air. It is natural to want to explore the unknown, just as the unfamiliar is more appealing than the familiar in everyday life. The music of kf13 is a ferry to the world of imagination and longing for something precious.

Introducing Koikid, a London-based guitarist and producer whose debut release, Rainy Daydreams, marks the beginning of his evolving journey into lo-fi music. Using guitar as the foundation for much of his creative process, Koikid crafts warm, dreamy soundscapes that blend lo-fi textures with a strong focus on melody and mood 🎸

Influenced by a diverse musical upbringing—from classic funk and soul to jazz, hip hop, and ’90s grunge—Koikid remains open to exploring and evolving his style, while still maintaining a distinct lo-fi aesthetic in his music.

'Marina' is the name of a Tuscan seaside town and for Estra, closely linked to the feeling of nostalgia. The mood of the track wants to recreate the emotion of summers spent at the seaside as children. By putting together distant sounds and sweet melodies the beat retraces this emotional path.

Estra is a full time lyricist with over 10 years of experience with a passion for hip-hop from the past till today.

Our October studiomix for Campus FM comes from the Portuguese producer, sound engineer and one of our latest signees Zforms who has been expanding the label's boundaries 🧪

His mix showcases artists who excel in sound design, each crafting immersive soundscapes. Brian Eno, the godfather of ambient music, anchors the list with his pioneering influence. Suzanne Ciani, a trailblazer in synth music and a pioneer for women in the field, adds innovation and mastery. Carbon Based Lifeforms and Solar Fields bring expansive, meditative atmospheres, while Floating Points blends genres with modern finesse. Polarity, a top sound designer at Bitwig, and Martin Stürtzer contribute deep, cinematic textures. Mike Dean, known for his hip-hop work, adds synth-driven rhythm and grit. Zforms brings experimental energy, while Cousin sets the stage with intricate layers. Together, these artists create a journey through ambient and electronic music, pushing the boundaries of sound.
