From high specification Atmos studios similar to the one we built for fender, to large broadcast builds we cover it all ! It’s all done in house keeping it simple and efficient. This is the new external TV news rooms added onto the large broadcast build we keep posting. The noise from the Amazon distribution centre next door means a lot of thought has gone into the soundproofing, but as always we have come up with a cost effective solution. Audio schemes seems to be one of only a few company’s who are willing to take on projects of any size and in any industry. We are well known for building high spec music studios but also build TV studios of 500m2 and beyond. Size doesn’t matter just as long as we have a realistic budget to work to, we will deliver every time.

It was great to be asked to build fenders new 7.1.4 studio at their London HQ.
It’s a listed building so had some unique issues to get around but we have a long history of working on listed buildings so experience definitely payed off on here.

As well as the large TV studio we are building, we are still cracking on with home studios.This is our latest garage mastering studio in Yorkshire which we started Monday. It’s a fully floated studio (internal dims 4.3m x 3m x2.2m high) and will have full acoustic fabric linings to the ceiling and walls.We had to cut through the garage outer wall and fit a new door which allows the garage drop down shutter to be retained to give the impression of still being a garage from the outside. The big obstacle on this build is the railway line on a viaduct less than 20 metres away but we do like a challenge! The design also gives ample storage.Keep watching for updates.

We have just finished an audio studio for GLOWMADE games over in Guildford.
Our good friend Chris Allen worked his magic with all things Tec.
GLOWMADE kindly added the following words :

‘We asked Nick to build an audio room for our games studio and the end product is incredible!
The quietness is amazing and so much better than what we hoped for, we don’t even need a separate sound booth we can simply record directly in there. Despite being a small studio, it has such a professional yet fun look. Nick and his team were great to work with and we enjoyed having them onsite.
They were very conscious to minimise the disruption to our employees and had a can-do attitude. It may be a cliche but Nick went over and above, often taking on things that were outside his remit.

Thanks guys for all your effort to build us an awesome studio and overcoming the unforeseen challenges!’

The steel shell for the roof is now being fitted on our project for the “Leeds Studio Cooperative”
It will soon be water tight ready for the next stage on this exciting project delivering quality recording studios in the heart of Leeds.

Audio Schemes had the pleasure of building a garden studio for Dave Emery, one of the world’s leading Dolby Atmos engineers and the man behind albums for Ed Sheeran, Miley Cyrus, Lewis Capaldi, U2, Foo Fighters and many more.

Dave’s new Dolby Certified studio allows him to work unrestricted without having to worry about sound bleeding in and just as importantly sound bleeding out.

Dave wasted no time working in the new studio with his first mix being the currant album for Liam Gallagher and John Squire.
