Not sure who needs to hear this, but there are wedding professionals who do the bare minimum for a wedding and therefore charge the bare minimum. Luxury wedding professionals are exponentially different.
Take any field or profession and think about the experts in that field or profession. How much do they get paid annually?
Ok, now divide that by 20, which is the number of weddings a luxury wedding professional can handle, at most, before being completely burnt out. What number did you come up with?
Simply put, luxury wedding professionals pour a lot into each and every wedding and therefore deserve to get paid comparable to an expert in their field. Keep in mind, its not just the hours worked on the actual wedding day or weekend, its all the hours leading up to it and for some folks, like photographers, all the hours after the wedding. And again, you are paying for an expert, not the bare minimum or even average, you are paying for above average.
So when you are researching your wedding professionals and websites spit out false numbers about "average pricing", that's not pricing for luxury wedding professionals, the wedding professionals who consistently go above and beyond for their couples, wedding professionals who consistently exceed the expectations of their couples. Not even close.
