As a Tennessean, for me the velvet hunt is something you dream about accomplishing. These are the nights I dreamed about years ago as a young bowhunter. To finally experience a velvet whitetail for myself is a moment in my bowhunting journey I’ll never forget.
We hunters are incredibly blessed. Getting to chase these whitetails with a bow is a PRIVILEGE, and I hope we never lose sight of that. Every sit, every encounter, every opportunity to draw back on one of these animals is something we should all be thankful for.
