Apportionment Explained: Why Illegal Immigration Boosts Democratic Power in Congress and Affects Our Elections

Every ten years, during the U.S. Census, apportionment determines how the 435 seats in Congress are divided among the states. It is based on total population counts, not just citizens, but everyone living in an area: citizens, non-citizens, illegal immigrants, and the homeless.

The more people counted, the more congressional seats that region receives and the more political power it gains.

This is why Democrat-run cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Philadelphia declare themselves “sanctuary cities.” It is not purely about compassion, it is strategy. By filling cities with more residents, legal or not, they increase their representation in Congress.

Once the Census is done and seats are secured, those same migrants are often pushed outward into nearby suburbs, many of which lean Republican, in hopes of shifting those areas politically.

President Trump sought to fix this before the 2020 Census by adding a simple question: “Are you a U.S. citizen?” Democrats fought it fiercely because counting only citizens would expose how this system is being used to manipulate representation and votes.

Apportionment is not just a technical term, it is a powerful political weapon used by the Democratic Party to not only influence elections and gain power but also to erode our nation, undermine our citizens, and ultimately destroy America.

FCC is considering action against Jimmy Kimmel of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Disney, and ABC after Kimmel told his audience was killed by a conservative. His full quote was, “We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”

Absolutely appalling, disgusting propaganda nothing more and has been proven to be completely incorrect. Chairman Carr told Benny Johnson, “We can do this the easy way or the hard way. These companies can find ways to take action on Kimmel or there is going to be additional work for the FCC ahead.” Carr blasted Kimmel’s lies as “truly sick,” reminding ABC and Disney that their license comes with a duty to serve the public interest. I vote yes! I wouldn’t want someone who is clearly that mentally incompetent or that unhinged working for me, around me, or even standing next to me. Anyone who celebrates the murder of someone else simply because they disagree with them is clearly insane, violent, and capable of just about anything including acts of violence.

Texas State, is this who represents you? How can students feel safe with this on campus? The university must take action immediately and show that it does not tolerate this vile behavior.
