Meet Jennifer Stomsky, Jennifer is the elected tax collector for Ambler, PA, first elected in 2017, and has been the Municipal Leader for the Ambler Democratic Party since 2018. She also serves as Area Vice-Chair of Area 14 for the Montgomery County Democratic Committee. Stomsky is currently running for re-election.
Following the assassination of , Stomsky took to Facebook with a vile, dangerous post, telling fellow Democrats:
“Hey Democrats, GET A FU***NG SPINE!!! … I’m so tired of being told that violence isn’t the answer… History is filled with blood, so stop being so fu***ng righteous and squeamish…”
In the comments, she escalated further, writing:
“Let’s make some more martyrs.”
This is not just some fringe figure, this is the official tax collector of Ambler Borough, the leader of the Democratic Party in Ambler, and second-in-command of Area 14 in Montgomery County’s Democratic Party structure.
Instead of condemning her violent rhetoric, Ambler Borough Council President Glynnis Siskind dismissed it as her “personal free speech.” Other Democratic officials in Ambler and Montgomery County stayed silent. The only condemnation came from state-level leadership pointing to Governor Josh Shapiro’s call to denounce political violence on all sides.
But let’s be clear: Jennifer Stomsky openly promoted political violence, calling for more martyrs. She is making direct threats of violence, a criminal matter that could be charged under laws against incitement or terroristic threats. She is calling for people to be murdered simply because she disagrees with them. She is clearly mentally incompetent, unfit for office, and must be removed from her job and held criminally accountable. Is this what Ambler Borough also believes? Is this what the Democrat Party has become? The resounding answer is yes.
