The Goooolf and I will be joining in Arizona this coming weekend, for on Saturday, and the FCP Euro Sunday Motoring Meet on Sunday 💙

The Sunday Motoring Meet is a completely free of charge cars and coffee style event, at their Mesa, Arizona facility.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It runs from 8am-11am, and I’m sure we’ll find a way to stream the F1 Abu Dhabi race if needs be, and I’ll definitely be up for some post-race chatter!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ll should also have a few dozen copies of various issues of Performance VW magazine to hand out for free.

The Sunday meet is open to all types of cars, it’s free, and it’s super family friendly. The FCP Euro folks do as that you pre-register to help with number counts, you can the link on their site.

I’m writing this from Europe, as I’m flying directly to Arizona and back, just for the hangs with y’all and FCP Euro, and to warm up and collect some last minute parts before I start the drive to Arctic Ocean in Norway next week. Mk8 TCR Chassis #1 - this is the same chassis that was in the Volkswagen classic warehouse, and that we displayed in the USA. It has since been developed and raced by the amazing team - including to a class victory at Nürburgring 24h 👏❤️

The 2.0T engines feed power through a South African made sequential gearbox, with coilovers, ATS wheels, and lots of carbon fibre inside.

VW have long had a correct-for-the-brand accessible version of motorsport, with many Cup Series (Golf, Polo, Beetle) cars, and of course Formula Vee. So this feels a little like nature is healing, with some of that coming back to Germany.

The Goooolf TDI in a dry lake bed, Nevada. A long way from the barn I bought it at, pretty broken, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.
