🚩 You mute yourself just to cry between calls
🚩 You ask for feedback and get… silence

That’s not normal.

Work shouldn’t hijack your life.

I quit my corporate job.

Without another one lined up.

Everyone thought I was insane… but I didn’t do it on a whim.

For years, I played it safe:

3 years as an unpaid intern.
5 years working at my first corporate job.
2 years at the Fortune 50 company that poached me.

I realized none of these companies would value me the way I valued myself.

So I worked on my passion project in the background – Young and Profiting Podcast 🎙

Which soon led into me starting my own social media agency, YAP Media.

And when I was ready? I finally made the leap and QUIT corporate.

Fast forward to today:

I messed up on my recent live webinar.

Not once. Not twice. But THREE times 😅

I’ve hosted live events more times than I can count.

And last month I had another one.

Instead of going live from my living room like I typically do…
I wanted to uplevel the quality and host it from a professional studio.

We booked the studio time. Ran a test session with my team. Everything was set. 👌🏼

But the day of the webinar, everything started falling apart:

👉🏼 I got stuck in traffic and ended up being 10 minutes late
👉🏼 There were technical difficulties and people couldn’t hear my audio clearly
👉🏼 The chat wasn’t working properly and no one could see anyone’s messages

But I didn’t let any of that stop me. I just kept going:

👉🏼 My team kickstarted the webinar and kept the audience engaged for me
👉🏼 I stayed calm and figured out the audio issue with the help of the studio
👉🏼 We figured out the chat’s settings so people could chat with one another

The best part? My audience actually LOVED it.

And even told me to write this post about it as part of my Hero story 😂💗 (IYKYK)

Remember: Things will go wrong. Even when you’ve done everything right.

The key is learning to move through chaos, not crumble under it.

So the next time your plan falls apart?
👉🏼 Breathe.
👉🏼 Adapt.
👉🏼 Keep it moving.

I’m noticing a disturbing trend on LinkedIn…

There’s no real people on here anymore ☹️

In my 7+ years of posting on this platform, I’ve never seen such a lack of REAL engagement.

My comment sections are filled with people saying the same stuff, copy and pasted from ChatGPT.

It’s like the soul of the LinkedIn community is slowly being drained away.

I’m worried about the future of LinkedIn and hope that they crack down on automated AI comments.

It’s harder than ever to know what’s real and what’s fake anymore – and this is just the start.

AI isn’t going anywhere. It’s going to be a part of our future.

So people need to use it WISELY.

If you want to grow a genuine following…

You won’t get one when every post and comment is AI-generated.

You’ll just get other AI bots engaging with you.

Because nobody will trust someone who doesn’t have a mind of their own.

If we want to make sure the Linkedin experience isn’t watered down…

We have to remember what made it powerful in the first place:

Real HUMAN connection!

If we lose the human connection on this platform… We lose the whole point.

People think success is complicated.

But the most successful people I know?

❌ Don’t have MBAs.
❌ Aren’t necessarily the smartest.
❌ Definitely didn’t wait until they “knew enough” to get started.

In fact, Pat Flynn said it best on Young and Profiting…

“If information was the answer, we’d all be where we want to be. But we’re not.”

We dove deep into the real reason most people stay stuck.

And it’s not because they’re lazy. It’s because they’re OVERlearners that:
✅ Overthink every move
✅ Binge content “just in case”
✅ Stay in student mode forever, instead of getting their hands dirty

It feels productive. But really it kills progress.

Pat recommends what he calls “Just-in-time” learning: Learn what you need, when you need it.

Instead of getting lost in another rabbit hole, ask yourself:
“What’s the first step I can take right now?”

Take action on it.

Learn what you need to tackle the next step, and repeat! 🔁

That mindset helped him:
📌 Build a 7-figure business
📌 Launch a YouTube channel with millions of subs
📌 Invent a product without ever inventing anything before

Not by overlearning but learning JUST enough to implement.

Stop hoarding knowledge… and start doing something with it.

Because the success you seek is waiting on the other side of ex*****on.

The biggest factor holding you back?

YOU 🫵🏼

Keep telling yourself…
🗣️ “I’m not ready.”
🗣️ “I need more time.”
🗣️ “I don’t know enough.”
And you’ll stay that way.

People less qualified than you are doing the things you want to do, simply because they chose to believe in themselves.

And I speak from experience:

When I applied for my MBA…
👉🏻 I had a horrible GPA.
👉🏻 I never took my studies seriously before.
👉🏻 I didn’t have a traditional work background.

But what I did have? BELIEF in myself.

Enough to convince the program director to take a chance on me.

After that? I had something to prove.
I worked my butt off.
I graduated top of class with a 4.0 GPA – and was the only one to do so that year 😌🎓

I wasn’t the most qualified person on paper…

But I showed up with grit and did the damn work 👏🏼

So if you're sitting there thinking you're not ready…

Nobody EVER feels “ready.”

They just decide to go after it anyway.

4 company secrets your employer doesn’t want you to know…

And as a CEO of an almost 8-figure company, I’m telling you anyway 👇🏼

I’ve been on both sides:

The employee that was grinding for recognition…

And now a CEO that’s running a multi-million dollar team.

Here’s what most companies won’t tell you:

👉🏼 Your boss DOES wants to hear from you. They can’t properly support you if they don’t know how you feel.

👉🏼 You don’t owe them your entire life. While you’re clocked in, learn everything you can and leave things better than you found them.

👉🏼 Your company would rather internally promote an employee vs hiring someone new – it’s a lot cheaper and saves everyone time.

👉🏼 Your company doesn’t own your social media profiles. Start creating content and building your own personal brand because it’ll always reflect better on YOU.

Start working smarter…

Not working harder.

No one else will do it for you.

Before you succeed, they’ll tell you to quit.​After you succeed, they’ll ask you how you did it.

I wasn’t given a silver spoon.

I didn’t have backstage access.

I didn’t have an industry recognized name.

Yet I was still able to build a multi million business empire – from scratch.

All because I didn’t let what I DIDN’T have stop me from going after my dream life.

That’s why my recent conversation with Donald Miller hit SO hard.

When he started, he didn’t have it all either:

He was 387 pounds.
Struggling with money.
Lonely and lost in his personal life.

➡️ Married the woman of his dreams

He said, “If you don’t like your life, what you’re really saying is…
