Dall'usare il bastoncino per prendere le misure del piede per fare gli zoccoli, fino a far conoscere la scarpa Valdarnese, raffinata, femminile ed elegante, in tutto il mondo.

La mostra “Scarpe: Dagli zoccoli ai tacchi a spillo” si terrà al Palazzo del Podestà a Montevarchi e racconta la storia dei calzaturifici nel Valdarno, un pilastro della manifattura italiana e del "Made in Italy".

All'apertura che si terrà sabato 25 gennaio alle 16:30 interverranno Diego San Giuliano, Vicepresidente di Ferragamo Finanziaria; Massimo Rigucci, direttore artistico della mostra; Marcello Minatti, stilista e modellista di fama; Silvia Chiassai Sindaco di Montevarchi sindaco di Montevarchi; e Piero Grazzi, presidente dell'associazione Elephas che ha realizzato l'evento.

Beppe Mangione e Gia Marie Amella di Modio Media sono onorati di aver contribuito all'allestimento e alla relazione dei video che rendono omaggio alla scarpa “Made in Valdarno”
