As many of you know, the Sidney Red Raiders football team qualified for the NSAA championship for the first time in program history. They faced off against the Wahoo Warriors and lost, but they came home to a heroes welcome thanks to everyone who showed up for them last night.
A full write-up of the championship will be posted in the paper's issue on December 4 due to print deadlines, so be sure to get out your scissors and scrapbooks! This issue won't be one to miss.
The Sidney Sun-Telegraph congratulates the team on a well-played season. We look forward to seeing what they do next year.

It’s championship day everyone! The Sidney Raiders’ game against the Wahoo Warriors is off to a rough start. We’re in halftime right now and the score is at 0-20 in favor of Wahoo. There’s still plenty of seats available at the Fox if anyone wants to watch the game on a big screen!

For the first time since the All Is Bright Tour began in Sidney, businesses were invited to decorate trees located throughout the building. Naturally, the Sidney Sun-Telegraph couldn't be left out of the fun! You will find our tree between Santa's Workshop and the Christmas pond, next to Whoville.

In homage to our newspaper, everything on the tree (with the exception of the lights, obviously) has been created by hand. Each of the decorations was hand-crafted by our reporter, Adrienne LaBay, out of previous issues of the Sun-Telegraph.

To top the tree off, pun intended, we used the annual 'star' of our special sections, the High Plains Adventures travel guide, to make a 3-D star tree topper.
Each decoration took Adrienne from half an hour to several hours to make, and altogether, nearly a week to create them by hand.
Be sure to attend the event and vote for your favorite tree! (Hint, it's ours)

How voting works:
Visitors to the All is Bright Christmas Tour will receive a ticket when they enter. They’ll place it in the stocking of their favorite tree to cast their vote. Guests can vote once per visit
