We received the news cult director Jonathan Kaplan has died. He started his career in the early 1970's working for Roger Corman. I remember him best for the cable smash hit "Over the Edge" a must-see film with delinquent kids substituting as zombies in an apocalyptic suburban horror-esque thriller. He also directed "Truck Turner" with Isaac Hayes, "The Slams" with Jim Brown, "Night Call Nurses", "Project X" with Matthew Broderick, "The Student Teachers", "White Line Fever", and Rod Stewart's excellent music video for his song "Infatuation" (which featured several different endings) and starred Kay Lenz.
