Operating since 2003, Blackhead Studios are a globally respected mastering and mixing studio in Berlin, Germany. We offer a range of mixing and mastering services to artists, creators, publishers and record labels who wish to enhance the performance and presentation of their music. Led by Klas ‘Sasse’ Lindblad, our team of audio engineers now resides at Novalisstrasse in the vibrant Mitte district

. Our IRT certified studio was built in 1990 for ARD (German Public Broadcast Company). Refurbished in 2016 to create a modern audio production suite, consisting of three rooms, each fully equipped with the finest analog equipment from KNIF, Gyraf, Maselec & Bettermaker as well as state of the art Genelec and Amphion monitoring. Some artists who have loved our work include Fatboy Slim, Booka Shade, Maceo Plex, Henrik Schwarz, Rodriguez Jr, Dr. Dru, Hot Since 82, Michael Mayer, Eats Everything, and Tensnake. We are proud to list Native Instruments, Southern Fried Records, Radikon, Knee Deep In Sound, Mobilee and Ellum Audio amongst our regular clients.

Studio room for rent !

What? 13m2 semi-acoustic treated room ( nice open sound for its size) with a window facing to yard and a little storage room in a nice studio complex with shared kitchenette & toilet.
There is a a mastering studio and a production/mixing studio sharing the other rooms with nice people 🙂

Where? on Stralauer Allee inside the ring.

When? free from 01.11.2025-> long term preferred.

Who? all genders welcome & mostly designed for production/mixing/creative studio. -> -> loud amps/drums really wont fit. -> and possible to share

We’re proud to celebrate the release of Thakzin’s brand new album, “God’s Window, Part 1”.

This project holds a special place in our hearts — it’s the result of a 5-year journey of collaboration, growth, and creativity alongside Thakzin and his incredible crew. We’ve witnessed the vision evolve, the sound mature, and the dedication never waver. To now see it out in the world is nothing short of inspiring.

Offering hi-end analog outboard for mixing and mastering and retaining the precision of digital plug-ins for pre- and post production and final content delivery, we make sure to deliver the best possible results. Located in Mitte, Berlin, our studio premises are IRT (Institut für Rundfunktechnik) certified and provides perfect acoustic surrounding with hi-end monitoring by Genelec and Amphion for all your audio production needs.
