Pittsburgh’s Walk of Fame is getting 10 new names. ⭐

New stars are being installed along Smallman Street in the Strip District for Mario Lemieux, Myron Cope, Franco Harris, Jimmy Stewart, H.J. Heinz, Shirley Jones, Henry Mancini, Martha Graham, Charles “Teenie” Harris and George Westinghouse. Each honoree will get a granite marker featuring a bronze star and plaque.

The public induction ceremony is set for Oct. 13 at 10:30 a.m. at The Terminal, with Mario Lemieux scheduled to attend.

So Pittsburgh, who deserves the NEXT star? ⭐

Pittsburgh’s infamous “Bathtub” is getting a $14.34 million fix, but first, drivers get nearly a year of headaches.

PennDOT has closed the Grant Street on-ramp to westbound I-376, the westbound Stanwix Street exit and a lane between them as work begins to address the Downtown stretch’s longtime flooding problem. Those restrictions are expected to remain 24/7 through August 2027, with the overall project continuing into fall 2027.
