They sell it back to you with VIP lines,
Bottle service,
And algorithms.
They stole the sound,
Sanitized the message,
And slapped it on a flyer next to a crypto logo.
They fake the culture with overpriced merch,
With DJs flown in from luxury hotel rooms to press play,
While local scenes rot in silence.
They act like they discovered it,
Like they are it.
But this music was never meant to be seen.
It was meant to be felt.
Festivals didn’t build this.
Clubs didn’t protect this.
Social media will never preserve this.
Because this scene
Always has been,
And always will be,
About giving a space to the people who had none.
