Honestly, I really don't care much for birthdays.. I dont enjoy celebrating the passing of time. I think what really turned me off was my time at Red Lobster. People would come in for their birthday and expect us to do song and dance and big to do about their birthday and all I could ever think was "this is sad that these people come in and have total strangers validate one day of their life and all that's happened is them getting older" I just didn't get it.
But on the same token I would hope and do my best to be off work every year on my birthday to escape reality which this time last year was being stuck in school and working a job I didn't love.
What I am thankful for is during that time I was constantly working on my side hustl e with my free time, fast forward a year and opportunity are jumping out left and right, even though I "worked" on my birthday there was literally nothing else I'd rather be doing.
Building a fire and shooting a beautiful lakefront property and next week I'm getting to go to Nebraska to help shoot a hunting project with .wildhorse which is literally a dream come true. Plus getting to work with on a regular basis.
Thanks to everyone who has made this possibly, shared a post, booked a shoot, referred, or just generally encouraged us.
Moral of the story is dont settle on celebrating one day of year, work to make everyday a day you want to live over and over. Its not easy and doesn't come over night but its work chasing. Its still tough and everyday things are a work in progress, its not all campfires and cameras but I wouldn't rather be anything different.
The biggest thanks goes to for constantly helping and supporting me along the way... I love you
I do appreciate all the wishes of a happy birthday, but I do hate im on the downhill side of my twenties though lol
