Captivate is a producer and DJ based on the ancestral lands of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. His music pushes bass-forward sounds with deep roots in the past, drawing from 90s UK rave music, Jamaican soundsystem culture, leftfield techno & ambient music. Unbound by genre, his DJ sets shapeshift between styles and tempos, instead focusing on mood, narrative, and rhythmic exploration. He has shared his craft at renowned festivals such as Bass Coast and Shambhala, and his music has garnered strong support from many of his influences, including Om Unit, J:Kenzo, and Doctor Jeep.

Based in Bend, OR, She Knapps is a DJ and co-founder of both Womb Tang and Night Shift, two collectives rooted in building community through sound. Her sets explore a wide range of genres - hip-hop, R&B, dubstep, grime, UK garage, dancehall, amapiano, and bass-heavy sounds - always with an ear for soulful textures and feminine energy. Inspired by the Pacific Northwest’s vibrant music scene and natural beauty, she curates dance floors that feel intentional, immersive, and deeply connected.

Yancey is a producer from Auckland, New Zealand; A multi-instrumentalist with an eclectic sound he describes as a social experiment of genres, Yancey’s productions are a mixture of constantly evolving rhythms & grooves with a unique style stemming from a love for underground music culture, with deep roots in hip hop, dub, jungle/drum & bass and the many contemporary sub genres that stem from each.

Now residing in the UK, Yancey has built quite a name for himself in his homeland’s underground music scene & beyond, with his music being released & featured by notable labels including 1Forty, Quality Goods Records & Sony Music NZ, played on Rinse FM, BBC Radio 1, Subtle, Noisia Radio & regularlly on GeorgeFM in his home country where he held down a recent residency, & supported by notable producers the likes of Sir Spyro, Plastician, Cesco, & Sepia. This notoriety has led him to perform renowned showcases for the likes of Redbull, 1985 Music, & SWU:FM.

Sublimix 162 is now live!!!

Kaeli Hertz began her journey in the Bay Area, California, where she studied audio engineering in San Francisco. She went on to intern at several of the region’s most prestigious studios, including Fantasy Studios and Ninth Street Opus. Under the mentorship of producer Jim Greer—best known for his work with Foster the People, Macy Gray, The Hieroglyphics, and more—Kaeli began creating remixes for his eclectic roster of artists, eventually moving into writing her own music.

She launched her DJ career as the resident DJ for the Oakland Poetry Slam, where she honed her skills in live performance and curation. Now based in her hometown of Portland, Oregon, Kaeli has immersed herself in the city’s vibrant bass music scene. Her sound is a dynamic fusion of styles and cultural influences, rooted in a deep connection to rhythm and the shared energy that unites us all.

Portland, OR native Merricat Black has made a name for themselves in the realm of dubstep with releases from Duploc, Qualia, and Wubaholics with support from the likes of Sicaria, Zen Selekta, and Shiny Things. Now becoming more jaded by the day, the allure of trap music has invaded their taste buds once again. The oven's set to 400 and they're cookin' with this mix!

Since then she has quickly gathered recognition for delivering high energy bass music sets, Her extensive music collection integrated Drum n Bass and Jungle with Dubstep, Grime and beyond. She draws her inspiration from Sound System Culture, with a focus on tasteful blends and hard-hitting sound.

"Whenever I mix, I'm striving to achieve smooth transitions and a seamless flow of energy from track to track which, in this case, led me to 45 minutes of top-notch dubstep followed by 15 minutes of the funkiest garage cuts. Featuring 14 unreleased original IDs and recent playable WIPs, this 42-track mix is a snapshot of my current musical tastes and sensibilities.
