Made Poké bowls for dinner tonight and felt proud…

Not travel related in the slightest, other than we ate so amazingly well for a whole year that I’m determined not to slip into all the heavily processed foods British people eat on the reg.

It was yummy.

UK 🇬🇧- Whitstable, Kent: We’re an Asante down for our first trip since our year away as he’s back in Ghana on the Big Build but we had a lovely few days by the seaside whilst our first guests enjoyed our home!

The Airbnb was super cute, had a lovely garden for us to relax in and Whitstable itself was lovely. A day of walking, mooching in shops, cake, fish and chips and Oysters for the bravest one among us.

SO lovely to be knack by the sea again! It’s been a while 😉🤣

We’ve been quiet the past few months. What do you post about on an account made to document travelling when you stop travelling!!??

BUT, we’ve also been very busy. We knew we didn’t want to go back to ‘normal’ after a year like that so, to make sure we continue to live the life less ordinary, we have been decluttering, decorating and cleaning to make our lovely home available for guests on Airbnb.

They stay in our home, we travel! So….. now where next?

Egypt - Giza: Final day in Cairo before we head down to Luxor. We visited the new ‘Grand Egyptian Museum’ which, in itself was pretty epic, and then spent a lazy afternoon having lunch in the gardens of the Marriot Mena Hotel which has a pretty good view of those pyramids.

For anyone visiting Egypt in the next year, just a heads up that the museum isn’t fully open. But the price to get in was still pretty steep, so only go if you have the spare cash and like architecture!

Now for the next leg of our Egyptian adventure…
