The Taste of Things, the film that earned Trân Anh Hùng the coveted title of at , finally had its U.S. premiere at last night!

Not only was the film rated 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, it was also recently picked as France’s submission for the Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards in 2024.

Set to have its U.S. on October 5th, Trân Anh Hùng’s feature film, The Taste of Things, has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Earlier this year, the film was featured at the Festival de Cannes (under the title The Pot-au-Feu), where it won the Best Director award for Hùng.

Would You Rather is a drunk driving PSA for Waka Kotahi NZ transport agency. Director Gaysorn Thavat has been praised for her ability to create environments in which actors can “play, experiment, and be truthful”, producing a particularly authentic end product.

Trân Anh Hùng, who has a lengthy relationship with Grand Large, earned the coveted title of Best Director along with some of the strongest reviews at Festival de Cannes for his film The Pot Au Feu (La Passion de Dodin Bouffant). Loosely based on a novel, it portrays a slow-burning romance between esteemed cook Eugénie (Juliette Binoche) and Dodin (Magimel Benoit), the fine gourmet she has long worked for.

In Hùng’s own words, “the idea was to weave gastronomy into a love story”, which presented him with a unique filmmaking challenge. 🎥
