KCFW Night One ✨
The runway shows kicked off with an incredible lineup. Everything from breathtaking gowns to fresh takes on everyday style, romantic silhouettes, and daring cutouts. Each designer brought their own vision to life, setting the bar high for the week ahead.

And let’s not forget the audience… the energy in the room was just as much a part of the show. From front row to back row, everyone showed up in their best looks, creating a buzz that made every entrance and every strut down the runway feel electric.

There’s something about the first night that always feels extra special it’s the perfect mix of anticipation, excitement, and community. It’s where fashion lovers, creatives, and supporters of the arts come together to celebrate style in all its forms.

What an amazing way to start Kansas City Fashion Week, and if night one was any indication, we’re in for an unforgettable week of creativity, bold statements, and pure fashion magic.

KCFW MEDIA NIGHT
Fashion Week officially kicked off with a two-part media night!

First stop: Madison Stitch, a local designer crafting luxury leather goods who will be showing later this week. Getting a behind-the-scenes look at their process and learning all the little details that go into working with leather, was both inspiring and fun.

Next up: Mosaic Ultra Lounge, where we got a first look at their stunning renovations and a sneak peek of some of the designs hitting the runway.

Honestly, this is one of my favorite parts of Fashion Week, meeting new faces in media, reconnecting with old friends, and chatting with designers about what’s inspiring them this season. With the energy already this high, we’re stepping into the week with heightened excitement and anticipation for what’s to come.
