Dear all, on behalf of the Black Swan team:

Hello Castle Dwellers!

We hope that you and your loved ones are doing well!

We are happy to announce that Kasteel Well’s student-run cultural magazine, Black Swan, is officially back up and running! We decided to revive this issue in order to document and share our unique experiences from this past semester.

Toward that end, we are currently accepting submissions! This can include illustrations, collages, photography, poetry, short stories, personal essays, lists, postcards, and journalistic pieces. Black Swan is made entirely up of student (and now faculty) contributions, so we hope all those who can submit a piece, will.

The deadline for submissions is June 16.

Please email your submission(s) to [email protected]. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to [email protected] or [email protected].

We hope you can share a part of your semester with us!

All the best,
The Black Swan Team

What would you say to your favorite professor if you could?
What is a list of things you’re going to miss from/remind you of the castle?

Submission Guidelines:
Written pieces:
1,000 word limit
Travel themes
Photography & Art:
300 DPI or higher resolution
