Despite the soaring prices of precious metals, the high jewellery collections continued to dazzle during couture week in Paris. presented a 90-piece collection – its largest to date from longtime creative director Pierre Hardy. It took the maison’s equestrian heritage to new heights, as seen in a cuff bracelet inspired by an 18th-century saddle. combined ornamental stones such as lapis lazuli, turquoise and rock crystal with diamonds for its ancient Egypt-inspired collection. At creative director Claire Choisne worked with morganite, onyx and rock crystal for her collection of five matching necklaces and rings - the result of more than 14,000 hours of work, while honoured its iconic Bird on a Rock with a one-of-a-kind iteration surrounded by black opal doublets, part of the house’s ongoing iterations of the Schlumberger icon first created in 1965 (it’s expected to be sold by end of week)
