We're not providing a complete review for "The Strangers: Chapter 2". The original film was dreadful and this sequel is so violent we don't think our critics should have to watch it. Instead of a review, we have compiled content information for our readers.

Stranger danger.

If you like serious history or courtroom films, circle November 7th on your calendar. Our editor caught an early showing of "Nuremberg" and can't stop raving about this searing, smart film. You can read her review here.

Brilliant writing and acting make this an unmissable choice for audiences who like serious historical films.

The "kid-befriends-stranded-alien" story isn't new and "Xeno" doesn't add anything to the genre. This PG-13 movie is now playing in theaters and it's been reviewed by Alisha.

This alien friend tale tries to deliver messages about empathy and acceptance but devolves into a muddled mess.

Now streaming on Hulu, "Swiped" tells the story of Bumble's founder, Whitney Wolfe Herd, and examines the misogynistic culture of the tech industry. According to Savannah, this movie fails to go deep, making it a disappointing watch.

Thinner than it should be, this movie leans too heavily into girl boss stereotypes and a shallow look at misogyny.

If you liked "Crazy Rich Asians", you will almost certainly enjoy "She Said Maybe". Now streaming on Netflix, this Turkish/German rom-com features a pretty standard plot which is dressed up with some great scenery and over-the-top fashions. Our editor enjoyed this light, silly movie and you can read her review here.

Welcome to the family.

"Spinal Tap II: The End Continues" is in theaters this weekend - to underwhelming response. You can see Keith's review of this R-rated mockumentary here.

It's not actively bad, but this mockumentary isn't great either.

"The Long Walk" successfully retells the Stephen King story, with moody atmosphere intact. Unfortunately, this R-rated film features 299 sexual expletives, which we consider excessive. The film is now playing in theaters.

Gripping and absorbing, this film's achievements are overshadowed by the 299 sexual expletives in the script.

"Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale" was a disappointment for editor, failing to improve on the second film in the franchise. Hardcore fans of the TV series will probably enjoy this opportunity to say goodbye to their favorite characters, but this film is unlikely to appeal to anyone else. Rated PG (despite a one-night stand), the film is currently playing in theaters.

One last goodbye.

When ten men are selected to starve to death at Auschwitz, a Catholic priest steps forward to take the place of one of them. This story is told in "Triumph of the Heart", an inspiring, heartbreaking film that favorably impressed our editor. The movie is out in limited release this weekend: it's worth looking for and seeing in theaters wherever possible.

An inspiring, redemptive tale that's searingly told.
