Today we invite you to take a moment with us to reflect on roots and beginnings. In the feature “Beginnings: A Journey Through Community”, photographer, storyteller and co-founder of Carole Topalian shares how her journey started in Santa Barbara, guided by a wise aunt who told her to “shoot fruit” — and how that simple nudge blossomed into a celebration of our region’s farms, people and flavors.

From wood-fired pizzas to soulful Latin-style dishes made with seasonal ingredients, Sebastian & Kellie Fernandez + Sergio Chavez are pouring everything into creating a place where you are the VIP. ❤️

And here’s the heart of it — a portion of profits goes toward feeding families and supporting urban gardens in Uganda. 🌍
