June is Men’s Health Month. The week of June 15–21 is Men’s Health Week. It’s a time to focus on an important issue: many men do not take care of their health as often as they should.

Men are less likely than women to go to the doctor, get checkups, or talk about their health. They are also more likely to wait until something feels serious before getting care. Because of this, men often have worse health outcomes and shorter life spans.
