🚐 TRAVEL DAY! -also- our one month mensiversary of being full-time nomads!!!

We left our first campsite at 9am and somehow still ended up at our new campsite at 9PM!!!! so far we have a track record of arriving and setting up after dark.... By flashlight ... But we got a lot done in those twelve hours!!!!

The boys also got their first PUP CUPS!!! They deserved it, basically a 12 hour car day with a million stops. They did so good!! Nobody puked including ME!

Our friend Robert built and installed a custom couch base with storage! Looks really good and matches our dinette. Now we are just waiting on our custom couch and dinette cushions that we designed ourselves!! It will be a few weeks but I'm so excited to share photos when they're done!!!

Also- Andy does have fun too, I mean how can he not, with me around?!! I occasionally look like I'm working too 😉

Recent finds that match our trailer color (I'm extremely picky about this color match 😂 it can't be too blue or too green) I'm gonna do posts like this often because I'm obsessed with this color & it's hard to match....

1️⃣ Cute mini retro waffle maker thrifted at Goodwill
2️⃣ Plastic-free, silicone ice trays
3️⃣ Non-slip silicone dog bowls - I really love these cus they are plastic-free, unbreakable & microwavable. Now we just have to teach the dogs how to use the matching spoons...
4️⃣ we acquired the perfect match of vinyl for our second hand dinette and couch cushions!!! Our friend is building our couch frame (with storage) this week and we custom designed the upholstery and we're having all the cushions made in 1950's style!! Get ready for a dramatic before & after!!!

What would you call this color? I feel like it's not consistent at all with what my purchases call it, the same color match has been called MANY names ....

When we sold the house Andy sold his acoustic guitar and he just picked up this half sized classical guitar to travel with and I'm loving listening to him play again, it's been a while since he's had time to play ❤️🎶🎵🎸 I hope it's a daily occurrence.

New Vegan snack obsessions 🤤
These are so so good. I've been on a really good run of finding amazing vegan options to replace my favorite snacks and desserts. HIPPEAS and Back to Nature have the best replacements so far! I'm an EXTREMELY picky eater BTW! 🤣

I also love the fudge mint cookies and fudge striped cookies - favorite cookies by far! i couldn't even take a photo of the fudge mint cus I went through them so quickly and recycled the box already 😂

My dogs are so artsy 😂 Some of my favorite photos I've taken of them are on my old phone in crappy lighting. But the moment will just pass if I try to grab my camera.
I'm so happy they are with us on this adventure and I hope to give them the best senior years possible. I just wish Chaos was here too 💔
By the end of this year Bucky will be 13 and Simon will be 11. We plan on showing them Mexico to Alaska & everywhere in between!

Saturday afternoon nap in the AC, too hot to go out for a walk mid-day 😴💤 sleepy babies
Not looking forward to camping in triple digits next week. I hope our AC doesn't crash. It was never our plan to be in Texas in the middle of summer but that's just how the timing worked out with selling our house. Can't wait to start moving into cooler temps so we can be outside more. But we still have a lot to do inside the trailer to get organized!!! The bedroom and bathroom are pretty much done!!! Now I gotta tackle the living room + kitchen.
