Aweilian counties have no reason to participate in BCPT since they have no issues with peace at home. It is a scenario of injecting the healthy twin because the other twin is sick.

Aweilians should create a peace promotion tournament and invite the neighboring states' counties and teach them what peace tournaments really look like. You can not have a peaceful league when the likes of Majok Ayar and co are the leaders.

Some members of the BCPT management have failed to manage their own home affairs, let alone the community responsibilities. We will always live to recognize where there is peace ✌️

Maj. Gen. Philip Nyon Restricts Two Senior Officers from Meeting the President.

A leaked document seen by Nile Times Media reveals that the Commander of the Republican Guard Division, commonly known as the Tiger Division, Maj. Gen. Philip Nyon Nyon, has ordered the restriction of two senior officers from accessing the President.

The letter, addressed to the Acting Commander of the VIP Brigade, directs that Brig. Gen. Bang Wieu Koor and Col. Mawien Garang Agou be barred from meeting the Head of State.

The reasons behind the directive remain unclear.

President Kiir Reviews Power Purchase Agreement

Juba, September 18, 2025 – President Salva Kiir Mayardit received a report from the Power Purchase Review Committee on the agreement between the government and Ezra Construction and Development Group.

The committee, chaired by Engineer Madhieu Acuil Mawien, recommended reducing tariffs, reviewing Juba Electricity Distribution Company (JEDCO) structures, and ensuring a sustainable, affordable power supply across all states and administrative areas.
