While it’s important to stay informed about what’s happening in our community, I feel it’s equally important to speak up when something deeply disturbing crosses into our industry.
Eric LaBrosse, a Wisconsin-based music producer and owner of Cherry Pit Studios in Menomonee Falls, is facing serious legal trouble. Prosecutors allege that he engaged in sexual crimes involving a 13-year-old girl after contact through Snapchat and an encounter at his recording studio.
On December 26, 2025, he was charged with multiple felonies, including Second-Degree S*xual Assault of a Child, Child Enticement-S*xual Contact, Soliciting a Child for Prostitution, Use of a Computer to Facilitate a Child S*x Crime, and Possession of Child Po*******hy.
We understand that some RSR Family members recorded at that studio in the past. However, they — along with everyone in the Rock Sun Records family — have cut ties 100% following these allegations and want nothing to do with this individual or his business.
On behalf of RSR, our hearts go out to the victim and everyone affected by this horrible crime against a child. There is no place in our community for exploitation, abuse, or harm, especially where young people are involved.
We stand with victims and will always prioritize safety, respect, and decency in everything we do.
