"Divine Comedy: A Journey of Faith, Miscommunication, and Blessings"
Let me take you on a ride through the hilariously unpredictable world of my life. Trust me; you’ll want to buckle up because it’s a wild trip filled with misunderstandings, divine interventions, and a cast of characters that even some movie industry would envy!
In September 2002, I set off for Monrovia from Ganta, Nimba County, armed with hope and a shaky understanding of my "divine mandate." For nearly a year, I wandered without a clue about my mission. It wasn’t until July 2003 that things started to click. By 2005, I was ready to establish a ministry! I was in my mid-20s thinking, “God, you can’t be serious. You want to use a rookie like me?” I looked around at my friends, living blessed lives, while I was just trying to string together a sentence in English trust me, my "broken" English could use a tutor!
But God has a unique way of using the most unlikely folks; I was one of those “fools” He looked for to showcase His glory. When His anointing began to flow through me, I was bewildered by the flood of testimonies. I’d often think, “How on earth did I get here?” Yet, I continued to put my trust in Him.
Now, fast forward to July 2006 when I got married—oh, what a spectacle! We had to borrow a Jeep and a pickup truck to bring the newlyweds home. I stood there thinking, “This is the best reality show ever!” Yet, through all the drama, my faith in God only grew stronger.
Fast forward again to November 3, 2021, when everything shifted, and grief crept in. I found myself questioning, “God, have you really confirmed all those wild allegations against me?” But even in those tough moments, I affirmed, “You are still my God!”
And then there was the hilarious saga of trying to find a wife let’s just say that was its own kind of drama. But little did I know, God had a surprise for me. On March 30, He sent a friend who became my wife, bringing healing for both me and my children.
I have to take a moment to thank Madam. Kou for everything she does. Reflecting on these years in ministry feels like a comedy sketch, but God truly is bigger than all the punchlines!
Now, here’s the kicker: My kids are part of the church I pastor, and my own mother is there too, along with people who’ve known me since I was just a kid! That’s some divine drama right there showing just how God loves to magnify His name through the “fools” He chooses to work with!
So here’s to the funny, messy, and inspiring journey of faith because in the grand comedy of life, God’s the star of the show!
