Thanks for all the nice messages everyone. We loved being in Eagan and we loved seeing you all come in the store. It was a blast watching movies and then hearing the various reviews you all would provide on them. Every so often, someone's review would point out something I missed and then it would change my mind about the movie.
16 years is a long time to be in business for anyone, especially the way the economy is now and the competition we faced. We are ever so thankful for you all, because we know that without the loyalty you showed us over the years, we would've never made it as long as we did. 16 years of business has also allowed us all to grow older together, seeing kids grow up to become teens and adults, and the adults/parents actually not look a single day older to us....strange. It has allowed you to become more than just customers to us, you were our friends too. We will miss you.
We also wanted to say that sometimes landlords get the blame for stores closing. We can certainly say that our landlord Jon is a truly fantastic guy. He must also be thanked and credited with helping us to remain open as long as we did. We will miss our times spent with him as well and know that he will put something valuable to the community in our spot.
We want to thank the great bunch of employees we've had over the years. They all made the daily workings of the store easy and fun for us. Just so the employees to know, I'm taking the postcards with me.
We still have lots of movies and games left. Be sure to stop by and check it out. We should be there a little while yet and even if you don't buy anything we'd still love to see you.
