Bloody Gold Digger She Is!!!
[PART THREE]

I didn't even know what to say to him, I don't like negative people, I mean I am here telling someone about how I feel for someone, that someone I am telling decides to criticise that someone I am telling him about as if he knows that particular someone. The silent stare was a bit cold between me and Spiykos, I mean how did we even get there bro?

And I thought he was done, I mean after giving him that look, I thought he was going to keep shut, but I lied to myself, he already had a bomb to throw on top of my head.

Spiykos: Okay bheka nja yam, labantu are for ama smash and grab nje, boma 1 night nyana then you done. Otherwise uzoba broke ukudlula la! Sihlala kuma backroom baba, this one probably has an apartment around Midrand, paid by boma Julias Malema and the likes...
Me: You can't judge a book by its cover Fana!

Deep down I knew he was right, well not that he was right but he made sense in a way, actually no, he didn't make sense, he was wrong, who said Kasi guys don't deserve Suburbian love? Anyways, no negative word was going to make me give up.

Spiykos: (On his way out) auth'yam, because I love you its fine, I'll buy your Mageu and change your diapers don't worry. (Laughs off as he closes the door behind him)

I laughed, not as friendly, but one of those "hamba sathane" kind of laughs. I watched the pics over and over again, beautiful women are really rare to find shame!

Around 15h00 I sent her a text, yeah yeah one of those smaller nyana sweet messages; Hey gorgeous, I hope you are well and having a good one, I don't really have much to say but I just wanted to let you know that you are extremely beautiful and never forget that❤️❤️❤️enjoy the rest of your day.

I blushed when I sent the text, it was like I'm looking at her face to face. Tell me, do you know what new love does to a person? I bet you can relate, at that time or rather period, there is no network problem nor boredom, just pure love.

About an hour after, she replied to my message "Ncoow thank you so much Peter, I needed to hear that☺️". I wish I can take you guys right now and put you inside my feelings at that time!!! You see that dumb feeling where you wanna wash clean dishes? Like the one where you can put an iron inside the fridge or find yourself putting your hand on your father's head? Ai this girl had me by the balls shame!

We spoke for a few minutes via app then I decided to send her pictures, did she not scream!!!? Same time she put up one as her DP!! My work you guys!!! My work!! She loved those pictures, big time. She thanked me over and over again.

Fast forward, we started chatting daily, random calls from time to time, video calls here and there. A friendly environment was created between us, she would share things that pi**ed her off during the day, I would too. We joked about everything, literally everything, your head too🤷 and your angry hairline.

The most sensitive thing about that phase which most of the guys fear the most is telling the truth. You become honest with your feelings and you might loose her forever, you keep shut, you might be "friendzoned" forever, so it is a tricky one in way.

Even though I have given her all the necessary signs, I still had to speak my heart out. A few days before month end, I had just finished doing about 3/4 n**e photoshoot sessions I decided to ring her phone. Like all the other days she picked up and after exchanging greetings I got to it.

Me: Bona maan, I want to talk to you about something, just not sure if I should continue over the phone or you would rather prefer us to talk face to face.

The atmosphere changed instantly, I could tell that the person on the other side of the phone snapped out of being playful.

Lesedi: Okay, you sound serious, are you okay?
Me: Maybe after we spoke I'll be okay.
Lesedi: Okay I hear you, I am free tomorrow, how about we meet?
Me: Good idea
Lesedi: A central restaurant of your choice?

Resturant? Ey ey ey!!! What do I know about restaurants huh? Guys I eat eBhubhesini or boma Chow Pozzi, K*K and the likes, where the hell does she want to go? Central? I have never been so clueless in my life!!

Me: What kind of a man will I be if I choose a Resturant? Come on Nana, you do the choosing and I'll be there.
Lesedi: Okay, let's try Marble Restaurant, JHB, okay?

I think I agreed by mistake😭

Bloody Gold Digger She Is!!!
[PART TWO]

I was under the impression that she was not going to pick up, honestly it was late, I didn't expect her to be up, so I was just trying my luck. How can I forget this? I'm such a dummy, so her number, the one she put on my phone, like the one she typed with her beautiful hands on my phone was saved as; Lesedi 💕.

Trust me, it made sense, how she walked in and the whole room was filled with light, don't even get me started on the two hearts she put on her name!!! I mean!!! Hello hi!!! Ai nina aningizwa yaz, did I not smile? You could've sworn we were in love already. Quick quick, she answered.

Lesedi: Hello Mr Camera.
Me: Hey Sedi, how are you? Are you home safe?

See how I called her name? You could've seen my face!!! I just laid there in my bed, looking at my ceiling, smiling like an idiot, girls are a scam!!!

Lesedi: I am okay thanks and yes I am home safe, are you done editing my pictures already?

I don't know if that was rude or what, I mean she didn't even bother asking if I am home safe or if I am well, girl just shot straight to asking about pictures.

Me: Nope, I am not done editing, I am working on em as we speak, I have to say, you look extremely beautiful ma'am.

I would be lying if I said I didn't feel the little blushing she did on the other side of the phone.

Lesedi: Thank you Mr Camera man. Kana what is your name?
Me: Well my name is Peter, but everyone calls me Skylight.
Lesedi: (laughs a little) Well since everyone calls you Skylight, I'll go with Peter then.

For an icebreaker, trust me that went very well, I mean we spoke for a few minutes, we laughed and got to know each other a lil bit and finally said our goodnights. I trust you know that "I can talk to this person all night" kinda feeling, yes I'm saying the chat we had wasn't enough.

Fast forward, wait, before I jump into it, yeyyy nina I almost did that thing with her pic, korre dammit motho ke pervert nyana yerrr!!! But ke I chose not to. Okay back to your fast forward, the following day, early in the morning I was up, before eating, before even bathing, before I could even fix my bed, I was already on my computer.

I worked my magic on her pictures throughout the day, trust me when I say it didn't need a whole lot of work, I mean she was GORGEOUS!!! Lemme give you a lil bit of a picture, after her comes Mrs Gail Mabalane and Mrs Nandi Madida, I think Lesedi shared a little bit of her beauty with them, the only thing that was missing from her, was non other than my last name, let's see how it sounds "Lesedi Mphutlane".

Come on guys, don't tell me that did not make you blush a little! You can already see it too, right? At about 13h00 I was already done with her pics, obviously I wanted to surprise her, but before I could do that I decided to call a friend of mine over, I usually do that when I'm done with my work, call him over, show him the original versions and the edited ones.

Spiykos: Ai ai Ai!!!! Yooooh!!! Mfana kanti why ungenza so mara ye??? Why ungshiya??? Phela Lo Wu Beyonce straight!!! Yooooh Jeso! Ai poi👊👊👊
Me: Beyonce wase msanzi fana (we laughed a Lil) ai Mara poi lo ngizishayile ngaye straight! La ngingashada I tell you, bheka lomtana faan!!
Spiykos: Don't!!! Ai ngeke Fana, phuma dar, zase Sandton ke lezi, ngeke ubuye!! Ngeke!!! Uzo trender!!!

Bloody Gold Digger She Is!!!
[PART ONE]
And she walked in with beauty!!! The look at me kind of beauty! Maybe you don't get me!! She walked in and the whole room froze! The loud room went quiet, all eyes on her!!
Her glossy lips dressed in pinkish, a reddish Hermes bag swinging on her left hand, the stitches thereof screamed "you cannot afford me". Don't get me started on her Saint Laurent heels.

She walked in the room and the women felt uncomfortable, insecure, her chanel no.5 parfum hijacked everyone's nostrils, the big shots men in the room felt intimidated, her presence was too heavy, especially for a guy like me, her angelic smile weakened my faint knees. Damn I forgot to even introduce myself.

My name is Peter Mphutlane, well known as Mr Skylight Studios, I am everything video and photography, yeah I heard what I said, try me.I am from a smaller nyana township located in the outskirts of Johannesburg named Kwa Thema, spiyo(Last town).I have a small company that deals with photography, however, to afford the life I am currently living I had to opt for VIP photography and VIP events, even those explicit content, Yep, that is where the money is.

On the first of February 2026 I was called to come take pictures at one of those indoor kind of events at Waterkloof, the atmosphere there smells like money, I mean serious money, I am talking about dirty politicians kind of money, dollars under the mattraas kind of money.

At exactly 13h00 I was at the location that was shared with me, my Toyota Tazz(though praised from time to time where I come from) felt like an odd number in the midst of even numbers! I mean the cars on that parking lot alone could buy my entire township, to be honest I didn't even know where to park, I mean can you comfortably park a Tazz next to a
Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II? It just felt out of place.

If you've been to that place you know exactly what I am talking about, parking my car next to someone's house was also a no no, have you seen houses at Waterkloof? So I just parked in the venue, under a tree and just let things be, the first thing I did when I got out of the car, I took a pic of the cars in the parking lot.

Sphiwe, who had invited me, met me outside and led me inside, all I can say is that people are living out there, like people are living soft lives, nor maan "asithatheni lento" once. Once I was inside I did my set up and everything, got my lenses ready. Need I say it was one of those prestigious events? Clearly you know that by now!

While busy taking stolen pictures, this stunning, gorgeously gorgeous lady stood by the door, and her scent walked in first!!! She just stood there and looked inside the venue, slowly lowering her Chopard round sunglasses.

I turned my camera at her, I've never seen such gorgeousness before, and she walked in with beauty!!! The look at me kind of beauty! Maybe you don't get me!! She walked in and the whole room froze, heads turned, necks almost broke, the silence in the room screamed "who is this one?".

She walked towards me, looking straight into the camera like a model, her walk!! Wow, like each and every step was calculated, like it was carefully taken, it was like she didn't want to ruin her heels or her legs were too fragile for the ground she was walking on! It's the beauty that makes one say "no you don't deserve to walk, let me carry you on my back mama".

If I remember very well I took only two pictures of her, otherwise I was just looking at her from admiration, the goddess of beauty. It was in how she moved, I mean her body complimented everything about her, her hands!!! Wait, her nails were so beautiful, obviously not like the ones you do ka sis Sarah eDuduza, her eyes looked like she had never seen sin before, so angelic.

She looked at me in the eyes and said "I hope you'll send me my pictures", smiled and went to the table in front! Tell me why did drool? Her voice!!! Ah ah nooooo, her voice was like a heavenly sweet melody. God really took some time when He created some people, unlike me, ai He was literally rushing somewhere shame, probably chased by Madlanga Commission but we not there ai.

The event starts and everyone is having fun, trust me when I say everything looked awesomely beautiful, the food, the drinks, the decor, the people and HER!!! Trust me I had my eyes on her from the moment she walked in. Even her dance moves maan were beautiful, she did not dance like Zodwa nge Savannah on top of a grate ka Magubane, she had those classy-sexy and mature dance moves, she did not even scream "AI Yebo, AI Yebo, AI Yebo", that kind of stuff was going to burn her voice.

I documented everything about her, you'd swear the event was hers. Ever been into someone that you even get jealous when someone else gets close to them? Yep, that was me, I don't know if it was jealousy or what, mind you I didn't even know her name, did I even think I'll get her attention? Hell no, I am just a Kasi boy in a Tazz, such class ain't really for me.

As they were about to wrap the whole event, I stood outside the door and took pics as people went out, there she was, coming out, she wore her smile with pride, friendliness embraced her, her whole body dressed in beauty, the sound of the camera caught her attention, then she walked towards me again, this time I took many pictures.

"Can I please see?" She said with a smile I have never seen before, also I am from eThema, ladies here hardly smile, impama uyithola fast obvious. Tell me, when did I become deaf? I literally just stood there looking at her, the way she moved her lips, it seemed like she didn't want to bite her tongue or something, 1 kiss from her then my funeral will be the following weekend I tell you!!

"Mr Camera, hello, can I see please?" She asked again with a little blush covered by her beautiful smile. I turned my camera to her and helped her scroll. Was she not amazed? Was she not shocked? I mean she loved those pictures.

"Ohhh my gosh, how much?" She told me the pictures looked so beautiful and she would be glad if I can send them to her. Obviously I didn't hear half of the things she said because I was too charmed to focus.

She took out her HUAWEI Mate XT and asked for my number. I had promised that I will make sure I send her pictures as soon as I am done editing, which won't take long(obviously I was scoring points).

"Lemme get your number as well, so that as soon as I am done editing, I can send them to you". I asked softly, it was the only way I knew I would get her numbers, gents come on, you know what I am talking about, right?

She saved her numbers on my old iPhone 11 and while we were still talking Siphiwe called me, it was payday. Trust me, even if they had robbed me that day I was not going to notice because my focus was still with her. After a lot of thank you's and see you next time I got into my Tazz and headed off home.

I rushed to get home, I flew there, I wanted to make sure that I call her and I did, as soon as 8 got into my backroom, at about 23h32, I called her.

Khabo Bhari Akukhalwa
[Part 8]
"at the fool's home, there is no crying"
He can do whatever he wants to do with me, that is okay, one thing for sure was the fact that I am not going back to the life I do not want, I will not do drugs nor drown myself in alcohol because of what I go through, no more, I will not try to fit in again, that part of me died.

Mzoks said to me with his hand in his back pocket "ai ngeke mfana you know too much manje", it was at a time when there was a car moving around Kwa Thema taking cellphones from people and all that, you know about that most, some of you were saying yi Almera, heh anazi nina!!! So I promised him that I will not say anything, he shouldn't even worry about me.

Magolide told Mzoks not to worry about me, which was right, I had no reason to tell anyone anything, besides, I have no friends even to this day and me sharing what they did or do incriminates me too. That is how Mzoks and I and the other gents parted ways. I was happy with the money, no complains, but how we got it was a total no.

About 3/4 days passed, Scarface was also walking free, I didn't trust the gents, at all, so I stayed indoors. I think it was Friday when the whole of Kwa Thema had enough of their cellphones being stolen, somehow they managed to track one of the guys and sadly that was Magolide, I still don't know how people figured that out, but people from White City, DeepLevel, Tornado, Phomolo, overline, highland, etc were looking for the gents.

Apparently they met at Ndaba Tree to get to the bottom of this, fast fast Marikana was way far too occupied. Mzoks and Scarface were nowhere to be found, Magolide was found in his Shack smoking pipe with his girl. He was BEATEN!! Mob justice is something else, they kept on asking where are your friends? I feared for my life at that time, went home without even looking back and hid myself under the bed.

From what I heard, there was a Police vehicle nearby, while Magolide was being marinated, he somehow found strength to run! They say he ran more than a Springbok did and threw himself inside that van. That is how he survived. The other 2 were nowhere to be found that day, they must have heard that they are the most wanted persons in the history of time.

I don't know what happened to Magolide, really, I am not sure if he died or he was arrested, but it was non of my business. I think after a week or 2, Mzoks and Scarface were seen roaming our streets again, didn't even care, didn't want to be a part of that team anymore.

Around those times I had already registered at Lefa Ifa to upgrade my matric results, I remember coming home from class one evening, and there was a black X6 parked outside my house. I didn't even know who that was. Walked in at home, found this beautiful lady, probably between the ages of 30-37.

Mom did the intro's, the lady happened to be her boss(oh mom's did piece jobs emaKitchen), I think she went there 2/3 times a week, depending on the load of work. Ms Masombuka also happened to be a lawyer, mom's had told her what had happened to me at Selcourt, so she came to me in person to get the whole story.

I told her everything as it happened, she told me that we must open a case. Long story short, a case was opened, the investigation happened, the 2 police officers were suspended at work for the duration of the case. Lawyers fear no one but the magistrate I tell you!!

Fast forward, after a thorough investigation and having retrieved the cam footage from those white guys, the 2 police officers were dismissed, they were corrupt, apparently that day, those guys offered them whisky and gave them about 15 if not 20k.

The white gents who beat the hell out of me were sued!!!! I wanna tell you how much but ey!!! Ni dangerous Kabi Nina. So we won the case ne!!! And that very same day, we got home with mom's and my lil sis, we gave thanks to God, we worshipped from the moment we walked in. God has taken us out of poverty, we were now planning to buy a house around Petersfield, I was looking at cars!!!! Drivers licence or not!!

While praising the Lord that evening, we heard noises from outside!! Loud noises. "Eish Eish Eish yooowe!!!! Ntwana lomuntu obhodile for sure yakena! Yooooooh sizani!!!!" Mzokozoko's voice echoed through every shack in Marikana in the stomach of the night, neighbours woke up to check what was going on, instead of helping, they took out their phones to record.

Apparently they hijacked someone at Vlaakfontein Rd and they stabbed him to death, unfortunately a patrol vehicle was not far, a shootout occured, they fled the scene and came to Marikana, when they got there, Scarface was shot, he had lost a lot of blood and died. Mzoks screamed and screamed as his other friend who I don't know fled the scene.

About 7 police vans came and found Mzoks holding on to his dead friend, he was arrested that night and by what I heard, he is never coming back.

- The End -

Thank you so much for reading bafethu!!! Edgar Thapelo Mashaba is the name.

Khabo Bhari Akukhalwa
[Part 7]
"at the fool's home, there is no crying"

Anyone who has been in that crafter knows, you don't sit on their seats, you sit down in the passage between the seats, and those people are many, all of them have access to slapping you, including those ladies who can't run!

I took them to some place in Barcelona I once went with Mzoks, they left me in the crafter with one guy, the others went in. I'd be lying if I could say I saw what happened, but I heard! I heard little groanings here and there, I heard 1 lady say "unamanga lo awaphelelanga". I still say this guys, 1 thing about ama GreenBeans, yeyyy bayashaya labantu😭😭

An SAPS patrol vehicle was called, the guy who sells was taken into custody, I was dropped off at Marikana, not home but not far from home, those idiots even said thank you to me, after so much beating, Mxm. Okay enough about ama GreenBeans guys🚮

I had a conversation with myself that night, not at home, not on the streets, not at Tarven, Nah. I walked to that white mountain, no drugs, no ci******es and no beer, just me, looking at the stars and moon, with tears in my eyes. Every little thing that happened was replayed in my mind, exactly the way it happened. I cried right there, so bad, I screamed on top of my voice, I prayed my lungs out.

I went back home, knocked, my mom opened the door, looked at me straight in the eyes and said nothing. I told her I am sorry to wake her up this late but I really need to talk to her. She sat down and borrowed me her ears.

I started from the beginning, with things she knew, with our situation and how it breaks my heart every time I see her trying to make ends meet so that we can sleep with full stomachs, with every rejected application and finally the Selcourt situation. Tears filled her sleepy eyes as I explained things in detail, I have a very sharp memory and can explain things as they happened.

This time it was not silent treatment, she was really speechless, the hurt on her face was louder than the shaking of her hands. I was not done, I was about to drop a bomb of me getting involved with those guys, to a point of smoking drugs when she got up and gave me the warmest hug I last felt when I was 6 years old, I could hear her sobbing in my arms and I lost it, I broke down once more.

The only thing she said to me was "I am sorry sana lwam, I didn't know you felt that way and went through so much just to provide". I explained how I met Mzoks, how he introduced me to his friends, how we got the money, I became so transparent with her and on that one she told me straight up she doesn't want any of that money in her house and never wants to see those guys near me ever again.

That was a decision I had already made for myself, which is why I was opening up so much. She prepared tea for me ne dombolo, then finally said "we will get through this together as a family. It was after all that when I went to bed, again I prayed, I prayed to the Lord for strength, for help, for provision and for healing. The saddest thing that can ever happen to a male is being in a position where you want to provide so badly but things just keep falling apart.

The following day I went to Kwa Thema Clinic with my mom, they gave me pills to flush out the drugs on my body, not sure if those things really help but oh well, I guess they played a part here and there, plus I was not deep deep into drugs, I was still a newbie.

Monday morning, Mzoks and Magolide were released. I didn't go to court to support them or anything like that, I saw them while passing sis Dudus' tarven. Mzoks called me in, this time I didn't go, I signalled for him to come to me with my hand.

I told him without fear what I had decided and I stood my ground. The anger on his face, I looked at him dead in the eyes when he reached for his back pocket, to pull a knife obviously and I did not run, I had no fear.

[Part 6]
"at the fool's home, there is no crying"

The police men, whom whose names I forgot came, two on the drivers' side and two on the passenger side. They politely asked all of us to step out of the vehicle so that they can search.

I heard one of them saying "ah ah ahhh lenwa bjwala kamo mos gents". I think he saw Scarfaces' beer. The guy who was searching me found nothing on my body, as I mentioned, I didn't carry any weapons, I was just a blank file in the car, in Magolides' pocket they found a knife, no words, just a hard slap in between his eyes!!

"I tshwara poo wena akere?" The police man asked, before Magolide could even explain, he was given another hot slap!! Mucus found it's way out of his nostrils before blood could find it's way out. This is a little bit embarrassing but his pants got wet, maybe tears used a wrong hole, I don't know, really.

Scarface tried to negotiate, obviously he was scared of what they might find in the car. "Eish nduna bengicela senze iPlan ny...." He was also gifted a quick slap before he could finish his sentence, "who said you can move wena spokesperson sa stagwa?" He was slapped so hard that even his toy gun fell, talk about opening a can of worms!!!

"Sethunya!!!" One of the police man said, I think it was a bad combo there, 2 Pedi police men paired with 2 police men, Nah, it was disaster! Trust me when I say it was disaster!!! Scarface was on the ground within seconds, I also didn't see what happened, but I know he was touched in ways I've never seen a man been touched before, that "yooh s**t" gave 20 seconds noodles vibes , 2min was too much.

Drugs were found in Mzoks inner pocket, he also recieved an offering of slaps and kicks, sevenfold if not more. I am sure you are asking yourselves why I'm not talking about myself huh? Ey guys I am a coward, one thing about me, I am a COWARD!!! The moment I stepped out of the car, I was already shaking, I was vibrating like a 3310!!

I was already sweating!! I didn't say anything, like nothing at all, when they said touch the car, open your legs I did exactly that, no questions, no explanation, nothing, just did what was asked of me and that was it! I did get my offering of a slaps too! And that was because they found nothing on me.

Fast forward, we were taken to Kwa Thema SAPS, guys you only have rights on the streets, at the police station you have non of that, they will tell you straight that "this is not your mothers' place". At the station we became food, we were eaten by almost every officer who came in. Once they heard that we had a gun, yooooh!!!!

I remember this one guy walked in, he is a greenbean! He heard there was a gun, called his friends, I was so close to releasing it all with sim 2!!! Ayashaya ama GreenBeans guys, I don't like them even today, everytime I see them I change direction. Quick quick, I was released because nothing was found in me, I was moered because of the friends I keep.

One officer told me that if I want to make it in life, I should stay away from these guys. Magolide was charged with "dangerous weapon", Mzoks "substance suspected to be drugs" and Scarface with "unlicensed firearm and driving under the influence of alcohol". I told myself that I am done with these guys, the funny part is that the guys were not really stressed, in fact they were the ones who told me that they will see me on Monday.

See who? Me? Never again!!! Because I had no car, the GreenBeans were asked to drop me off, my biggest mistake was agreeing to get into that bus!!! Anyone from Kwa Thema who was once in that bus can tell! Akumnandanga lapha!!! One of the reasons I hate those guys with passion!! With every fibre in me!! Ama GreenBeans ayaloya guys!!!

One of them asked; sure bafo, so niwathengaphi ama drug's?

I said I don't know... Biggest mistake ever!!!!

Khabo Bhari Akukhalwa
[Part 5]
"at the fool's home, there is no crying"

She looked at me, this time not with eyes filled with hope, more than hurt it was disappointment, it was like her dreams fell away. The silent between us got louder than what words can say, her teary eyes screamed "the only hope I had is crushed right before my eyes".

Mama, nayi Imali ye grosa (here is money for groceries), I said with a fake smile on my eyes. She didn't say anything, she didn't take the money, in fact, she just went back to bed. I slowly locked our ungreased door, scared of making noise nor waking up my little sister. Went to my room, closed the curtain and just laid on top of the bed.

Ever been so drunk and high that you look at yourself in the mirror and say "this is not the life I wanna live", that was me, I laid on my bed, looked up, put a pillow on my face and said to myself this is not the life I want for myself. I asked God if He loved seeing me like this, before I knew it I passed out.

At about 10:39 my sister woke me up, she needed money for amagwinya, which I just gave her without complaining, my body was very heavy, my head was spinning, my eyes were still heavy, is this what people who drink alcohol go through everyday? Yooh ai ngeke sbali. Getting out of bed was a challenge, a huge one, the embarrassment of having to face my mom stood before me like a demon celebrating your downfall before you head to hell.

What I knew is that I had to face her, whether I liked it or not, I had no choice. When I opened the curtain that separated my room from the kitchen, there she was, starring straight into my eyes, I didn't even know what to say to her or how to act, it was like she could see through me, through the alcohol, through the drugs and through the little crimes that took place the night before.

Mama, I am sorry I came late, I was just stressed and went out to drink, I am really sorry.

After a few seconds of cruel silence, she asked; yiyo impilo ofuna ozikhethala yona le mtanam? (is this the life you have chosen for yourself my child?

I looked at her, with no words in my mouth, ever knew what to say but no words came out?

No mama... The eyes she once looked at me with were gone, they were no more, she saw a different person, the son she once knew was no more, I guess he died the day those white boys beat the hell out of me, he died the day I decided to go out with Mzoks and his friends.

Umgani we sgebhengu yi sgebhungu, ngiyathemba uyayazi into oyenzeyo. Then she got up and went outside. I sat there thinking, this is not the dream I had for me. I took the money I had, put R700 on the table, went back to my room to bath, then headed out.

I wanted to meet Mzoks and tell him I don't wanna do this anymore. I got to his place and his was not there, when I passed by Sis Dudu's tarven, he called my name from inside. I went in, he told me that I sleep too much. I laughed it off a bit and asked him if we could talk outside and he agreed.

Before I could even say anything, he told me he already knew what I wanted, reached out in his pocket and gave me R2000. "Here is your cut for the phones ntwana yam, I won't cross you uyazi mos".

Guys guys guys!!!!!! 2??? Like 2k?? TF is going on here? These streets honestly have money. I took the money, when we went inside and drank a few beers. I quickly ran back home, hidden 1.2 under my bed, then went back to the guys. We did what we did the day before, this time it was a bit different though, after leaving Marikana, just as we were about to join Tonk Meter Rd, blue lights flashed behind us.

Scarface was about to step on the gas when Mzoks told him to stop, hit the hazards, out of the road and stopped. Fear!!! Fear!!! And I repeat, FEAR!!!!!! held me tight, I knew what was in the car, I knew what was the mission, talk about bad luck!!!!

To be continued....
