Back at the Oval this evening for BBC SportNI. Glentoran take on Glenavon. Backdrop is always brilliant here with the iconic Samson and Goliath marking the shipyard that launched the Titanic. Just a pity the weather wasn’t marking the fact it’s August and summer. Chilly is being polite.
Sunday was a lovely day in Dublin for st Patrick’s v Shelbourne cup match and Saturday was similar for Carrick Rangers v Glenavon while Friday evening was spent at the Ryan McBride Brandywell for the women’s premiership game between Derry City and Larne FC. Larne getting their first points of the season.
Did someone ask if we liked sport?? 🤔

What an incredible evening we had last Thursday at the Ballymena Showgrounds with Larne Football Club
Once again the guys at Larne tasked us with providing the club with broadcast facilities (via another party) for their UEFA Conference League 3rd round first leg home tie v Santa Clara of Portugal. Sadly the result wasn't as we all hoped, but it was a thunder of a game, with some brilliance and indeed dominance for spells by the home team. Unfortunately it's a challenge now for them in the away leg. Good luck lads from all the crew at Mobile Media Productions.
Also quick shout out to our friends and colleagues, Matthew and Rhys at Hawkeye, providing the VAR facility, for being such a pleasure to work with. Also all at The Irish Football Association with a mention to Thomas for co-ordinating all the match day details.

What a few days it has been for the crew at Mobile Media
Thursday evening we were at Ballymena Showgrounds for Larne FC v Prishtina from Kosovo in the UEFA Conference League.
Friday we were at the Blanchflower Stadium in Belfast for the NIFL women’s Premiership clash of Glentoran and Cliftonville.
Yesterday (Saturday) we were in Cargin GAC to bring the very first ever group stage game live in the Gaelic Football Masters competition. That saw Antrim play Tyrone
Today (Sunday) it’s back to Croke park for the All Ireland Football final between Donegal and Kerry.
And breathe!!

The guys at Soaring Productions partner up with us on a lot of events and this one in Ballymena was no small exception. The Showgrounds was the venue for for another excellent game and we thank the guys for a behind the scenes picture as we prepared for the Live feed to partners at UEFA.
A brilliant evening where we enjoyed ourselves way too much when we were supposed to be "working"!! What's the saying? When you enjoy what you do, You'll never................!! So true.
A good point away from home for Linfield FC. Next up to do the business is Larne FC. Tonight we are at the Ballymena Showgrounds with Mobile Media for Larne’s UEFA Conference League clash with FC Prishtina.

Once again I get to work at the GAA All Ireland Hurling final in Croke Park, Dublin.
Cork take on Tipperary in this years decider and the pundits reckon it could be a cracker. Hope so. Traffic is horrendous getting away from these.

What a week. Arrive back from hols and straight at it
Thursday night in Ballymena for Larne fc in UEFA Conference League, Friday in Dalymount Park in Dublin for LOItv with 24/7 and Bohemian’s game against Galway.
Today, Saturday it’s 28 degrees in Croke Park, Dublin for GAA All Ireland Football semi final number one with Tailtean cup action first and tomorrow Sunday it’s back for another two games in Croker finishing with the second football semi final.
When you enjoy sport, it’s hard to think of a better job. Oh and soup and a sandwich on a hot day!! Who said we were insane…….

Another busy weekend of sport behind us.
Friday evening was back in Inchicore, Dublin at Richmond Park for the LOI game of St. Pats v Sligo. A cracking game with 7 goals
Saturday was BBC SportNI duty, first at the Culloden Hotel for the IFAB conference with the IFA and FIFA. Later in the afternoon it was back to the Culloden for the Irish Cup semifinals draw livestream.
After a quick break it was down to the SSE Arena to the Crocker Donovan fight night.
Sunday was a trip up to the north coast town of Ballycastle for Ulster GAA Minor Hurling championship final between Antrim and Down
