The passion, history & journey. These are the three pillars upon which we founded Autostrada Forum. As lifetime car enthusiasts we are constantly captivated by stories our friends and clients share with us when discussing their passion. Whether at a car show, race track, cruise, or simply in the garage, the emotion these rolling pieces of art create run deep within us all. Our mission is to capture the passionate people behind these local stories, all while having our readers in the passenger seat. The premier issue includes several of the incredibly supportive businesses and owners we have met over the years in the local automotive community. We had the opportunity to join our friends and advertising partners at Cirrus for a photo shoot against the Toronto skyline followed by a flight in their SR Series G7.

This example is the Cirrus Arrivée Special Edition which includes a reimagined new livery and introduces new exterior colours and premium leather interior options.

We had the opportunity to speak to Cirrus CEO Zean Neilsen who believes the future of general aviation isn’t just about building better aircraft, but making the entire ownership experience easier, safer and more accessible.

Cirrus is working to remove the complexity that has traditionally kept people from becoming aircraft owners. The goal is to combine advanced technology and automation with the emotional connection and sense of control that makes flying so rewarding.

We are proud to partner with our friends at Nans Cookies 🍪 to present “Cookies That Care” on Sunday October 4th, an invitation-only charity event hosted at a private runway in support of Keaton’s House - Paul Paletta Children’s Hospice Children’s Hospice.

This event will bring together our community of passionate automotive enthusiasts to celebrate cars, cookies, community, and giving back, all for a cause that will make a lasting impact.

100% of proceeds will go directly to Keaton’s House Children’s Hospice.

Runway passes will take place from 3–5 PM, followed by dinner as we come together to support an incredible mission.

South-Central Ontario is home to thousands of children living with progressive, life-limiting illnesses, yet there is still no dedicated pediatric hospice serving the region. Keaton’s House will provide the care, comfort, and connection these children and their families deserve close to home.

Attendance is limited, and tickets are available by invitation at $250 per person, with every dollar donated directly to Keaton’s House Children’s Hospice. If you are interested in joining us please reach out.

In the film driftermovie, Sung Kang plays the protagonist, Tree, a janitor at a raceway in a dusty desert town, with a dream to become a drifter. He’s a solitary character, spending most of his time with his car, Lola, a worn Toyota AE86 inherited from his late mother. When Tree gets the chance to compete against Formula Drift champion Adam LZ, Kang says the film becomes “an underdog story in the spirit of Rocky. You take out the boxing and put in drifting.”

Another incredible morning supporting our long time friends and advertising partners at the Cobble Beach Concours yesterday! This is event truly a Canadian gem and a spectacular gathering of some of the best vehicles in North America. We’ve been fortunate to attend several of these Concours over the last 13 years and this was one of the best show fields yet.

Congratulations to the 2026 Best of Show winner, the absolutely stunning 1932 Rohr, 8 Type F Streamliner and to the entire Cobble Beach Concours team on another successful event. So grateful for all your help and support as always. Looking forward to 2027!
