Colombian producers and LaGuadalupe ( ) join forces on “Gaita Hembra,” a meeting between traditional and electronic sounds. The song intertwines traditional gaita rhythmic patterns with digital textures and sounds.

Native to Colombia’s Caribbean region, the gaita flute—Chuana, Kuisi—takes center stage, its melodic patterns unfolding over a subtle, dembow-influenced electronic beat.

Produced between Heidelberg (Germany) and Medellín (Colombia), the track bridges the organic and the digital, exploring new expressive possibilities within contemporary global music.

The project brings together Guadalupe Giraldo (gaita), Fernando “Toby” Tobón (guitar), Yulian Perc (Latin percussion and tambor alegre), and Camilo Silva (synthesizers), under the direction and musical production of Hilder Brando Osorno Palacio, known as Killabeatmaker.

This is music that dissolves boundaries between acoustic and electronic, past and present, ritual and rave. With “Gaita Hembra,” Killabeatmaker and LaGuadalupe deliver a rich, evolving soundscape that invites both deep listening and dance-floor movement, offering a bold vision of what Colombian electronic music can become.

2024 où notre petit label .calientes était à l’honneur dans le cadre de la célébration de nos 20 ans d’activité 🥺❤️
Expositions des pochettes du label, performances, ateliers, dj sets et rencontres de qualité. Une vibe incroyable, une organisation au top. On se souviendra longtemps de la soirée d’ouverture en partenariat avec , des concerts exceptionnels de , , , , , et on ne remerciera jamais assez les belles personnes qui ont contribué de près ou de loin à ce que ce festival ai lieu et qui nous ont accueillis et traité comme des mem!bres de la famille:
