Dear Editor,

The Ferryhill Station Royal British Legion Branch wishes to extend its heartfelt thanks to Councillor Paul Mountford for his generous donation of £254 from his Small Grants Fund.

This funding has enabled the Branch to purchase a much-needed laptop for the Branch Treasurer. This new equipment will support the officer in carrying out vital administrative and organisational duties, ensuring the branch can continue to provide support to veterans, serving personnel, and their families within the community.

Branch members have welcomed this invaluable contribution, emphasising that the donation will make a real difference in helping the branch operate more efficiently and continue its important work.

Councillor Mountford’s support is the latest in his ongoing commitment to the local community, and the branch is deeply grateful for his recognition of the Royal British Legion’s role in serving both veterans and residents alike.

The Ferryhill Station Royal British Legion Branch looks forward to continuing its work supporting the armed forces community, strengthened by this generous contribution.

Yours sincerely,
Lady Elizabeth Ann & Laird Roger Stuart Bushnell (FBII)
