I want to provide words of encouragement. This post is for those of you waiting patiently for a mate. God hears you. His desire is to give you your highest good. Oftentimes, due to loss, lack or in some cases past experience, you may not know or “forget” what your highest good should look like. When you give more than you receive, there is an unhealthy balance. That situation is not for you and does not come from God. Walk away gracefully; even when you receive bread crumbs. i.e unidentified calls every other week, month. A text, or random unexpected visits. In my line of work, I receive this quite often. I politely told someone today how I felt about an unexpected visit. Many of you know I have been a widow for 12 years. He was good to me. Perhaps some think due the length of time being single OR “my previous acts” of overextended kindness, I will settle for mediocrity. I want to share what happen to me recently. I met someone special. He’s not just handsome but drop dead gorgeous! Tall just like I like them w/ a deep sexy voice :). He owns his home and been in his career over 20 years. (yes, I did a background check). He makes me laugh and is not into playing games. I told him I would share this. I have to tell him because he doesn’t have time for social media. Praise God; similar to my late husband. His presence & consistency (early mornings & very late night chats) removed every draining energy around me in a small amount of time! He may or may not be the man for me (he's moving fast :) lol) BUT his presence reminds me of the possibilities out there. Do not give in to the bare minimum due to the length of time it takes. Let patience have her perfect work. I personally refuse to entertain bs. I am enjoying life through travel. I joined the best private gym. A hidden gem with all the amenities I could ever hope for. I bowl regularly. This time around, my goal is to stay active in other activities outside of my relationship. Too much time and attention can cause unhealthy emotional dependency. Balance is key. Those of you waiting, get out there! Pour all of that waiting energy into God/you & watch everything blossom around you! As I encourage you, I encourage myself as well. Stay tuned!
