All my friends had found a home, And only I remained alone.

Four kids were hanging out at home when Littlejohn asked if they were feeling hungry. They were, but there wasn't enough food around. So, Littlejohn decided to use his own money to get McDonald's for the kids. After that, the officers were able to reach the kids' grandmother, and she took them in.

The next day, the grandmother got in touch with Littlejohn on his personal phone and asked for some more help. Hiltner and Littlejohn teamed up with Central Patrol’s social worker, and thanks to her, they managed to get groceries for the family.

Every day, our officers show so much compassion for our community. Big shoutout to Officer Littlejohn and Officer Hiltner for being such great examples!

Last night, I reported to my gate to work a late flight. As the other attendants arrived, we realized we would be an all African American crew. Then, the First officer arrived … and lastly, the Captain. 🤯 We all looked around at each other and took in the moment. We quickly agreed that we’ve never seen this before, but thanks to the diversity in our airline, we’ll soon see it again. Our entire crew is African American!! Wow! 🙌🏾

Back to work today, forgot my pass so locked bike outside Cannon Street station. Left work at 6pm to find just the cut lock and no bike, resigned to never seeing my trusty stead again asked the station if they have cameras. A guy appeared waving at me, asked me to put the code into my cut lock. He replied ‘I have your bike’ with a smile I will never forget!! His name is Abdul Muneeb and he works for South Eastern Railways, he was on a break and saw a guy bolt cut the lock and challenged him to give it back, he then took it inside and waited 4 hours after his shift finished to personally make sure I got my bike back. The world needs more Abdul’s, he is a legend of a man and a credit to his employer.

"We adopted Phoenix last year. He's been a blessing to our family with his sweet never ending chatter, his love for mustang cameros, heavy equipment, and babies. Everytime he sees a baby he gets a high pitched voice and says 'Awe momma B look at the baby!' Yesterday he asked for one of his own; he wanted a boy, with a blanket, and a bottle. So I obliged him. Today we filled out the adoption certificate and he named him Aaron Paul Castlebury (he gave him the same middle name he has). He promised to be a good "daddy" and then we took a daddy/son photo session.
I can only pray that people will see the beautiful soul of our son at 7 years old wanting to share his love with his little baby. We are raising him to one day be an awesome FATHER ❤.

Chess Grandmaster Anna Muzychuk refuses to play in Saudi Arabia and says: "In a few days, I will lose two world titles, back to back." Because I decided not to go to Saudi Arabia. I refuse to play by special rules, to wear abaya, to be accompanied by a man so I can leave the hotel, so I don't feel like a second class person.

"I will follow my principles and not compete in the World Fast Chess and Blitz Championship where in just 5 days I could have won more money than dozens of other tournaments combined." This is all very nasty but the sad part is no one seems to care. Bitter feelings but can't go back. "

It was the Monday after I completed the Long Island Half Marathon, and I woke up still feeling the exhaustion from those 13 miles I ran the day before. As an eighth-grade English teacher, I kept telling myself, “Just get through nine periods, and then you can nap.” When sixth period came around, I thought it would be a good time for a quick bathroom break before my seventh period class. While I was finishing up, I heard some chatter in the hallway. I figured it was just the custodians getting ready to turn on the air conditioning since it was May.

But when I opened the door, I was surprised to see someone I knew: my partner Ron’s brother’s girlfriend, who was holding a video camera. I was trying to wrap my head around why she was there when I heard a guy yelling my principal’s name. And then I realized it was Ron standing right there! I mean, it honestly left me questioning every possible reason for his unexpected presence.

Behind me, my principal’s secretary and Ron’s sister were snapping pictures as I kept asking, “What are you doing here?” Ron took my hand and led me toward my classroom, where my principal, Mrs. Rodahan, was holding a beautiful bouquet of a dozen blood-red roses. Once we got into the classroom, I couldn’t help but tear up. Ron introduced himself to my 40 curious students, and I listened as he took charge of the room. My students began to catch on to the surprise unfolding.

Ron then asked all my students to stand at the front, facing me, and handed two of them a sign to reveal on cue. In front of those 40 students and four adults, he took my hand, expressed his love for me, and got down on one knee as the sign was unveiled, reading, “Ms. Ariel, Will You Marry Me?” And without hesitation, I said YES!

This is how things work. I posted a picture of a bunny that I had petted and I got reported by a woman from Massachusetts. She has a license for wildlife and I don’t. She has caged animals that she had broken their spirit by caging them, so she can handle them, and show them off for profit. Literally, anyone with money can get a license. Anyways, Facebook, for the first time, sided with me…Thank You, Facebook, but, I deleted the post anyway.
I blocked her, but, she had her followers harass me and my followers. Do you think this injured Golden Eagle cared about all that jazz. Here’s Goldie’s story…there was a dead bunny on the corner in the road, the Eagle came down to get it, a car hit it, the Eagle flew up and landed in the road, it was a accident, the Eagle was on a blind corner, but, the driver kept on going. Breezie and I stopped, I checked on the bird, it was alive but wasn’t able to move much. I was so afraid for it, without thinking I bent down so we were face to face, then it clicked, this injured Golden Eagle could rip my face off!! But, when we made eye contact, I knew it was going to be ok. I just picked her up, hugged her so gently, told her it was going to be okay, and set her back from the corner and on the side of the road. I thought I was In luck, Best Friends animal sanctuary in Kanab was only about 20 miles away. I called them, I explained what happened, and how urgent the situation was. They didn’t act that interested. They told me that I would have to take the injured bird myself to them, and Id be responsible for the bill, (and they are the absolute most expensive veterinarians on the planet).
I told her I have no experience with moving a Golden Eagle, but, that would be the only way they’d help me, and I told her I didn’t want to have a loose Golden Eagle in my Jeep, and she said, sorry, they couldn’t help me then. Having zero experience with a Golden Eagle, and me knowing there’s no way in heck I’m going to let Goldie die alone in the hot sun, (Kanab, Utah where this happened gets over 100 degrees in the summer) So, I bent down, I explained the situation to Goldie, and moved her farther back from the road. I gave him food and water, he took both from my hand. Breezie and I sat with him for over 4 hours, I gave him more water, massaged his hurt wing, and told him that it was going to be alright. Then, a miracle happened. He all of a sudden had all his energy back, just like that! He jumped up, flapped his wings and flew! He did one circle back around us, let out a screech of joy, and flew off. Amen!! I love animals.
