Most People Don't Expect to Find a MONET and This Incredible Glass Ceiling in Florida 😳🎨
You could spend another Florida afternoon at the beach...
Or you could stand beneath nearly 700 pieces of hand-blown glass and then walk into a gallery containing works by some of the most famous artists in history.
📍 Norton Museum of Art — West Palm Beach
This place might completely change what you think a Florida attraction looks like.
One of the first things that grabs your attention is Dale Chihuly's spectacular Persian Sea Life Ceiling.
🌈 Nearly 700 blown-glass elements fill the installation overhead.
Look carefully and you'll discover shapes inspired by sea life hidden throughout it.
And that's only the beginning.
Walk farther into the museum and you'll find names you probably remember from art books:
🎨 Claude Monet
🎨 Pablo Picasso
🎨 Paul Cézanne
🎨 Edgar Degas
🎨 Georgia O'Keeffe
🎨 Jackson Po***ck
The European collection stretches from the Renaissance through Impressionism and Modernism, while the American collection contains roughly 1,000 works.
Then step outside.
🌴 The sculpture garden mixes large-scale artwork with tropical landscaping and quiet spaces where you can slow down between galleries.
But here's one of the BEST times to visit:
🌙 FRIDAY NIGHT.
Every Friday, the Norton stays open until 10 PM for Art After Dark.
Depending on the week's program, you'll find live performances, tours, art workshops, films and other events throughout the museum.
And Art After Dark admission is currently just $10 for adults and seniors.
Regular adult admission is $20.
📍 1450 S. Dixie Highway
West Palm Beach, Florida
Sometimes you don't need another Florida beach day.
Sometimes you need to stand beneath a Chihuly ceiling...
then turn the corner and find a MONET. ❤️🎨
