“Flight 93 National Memorial”
6424 Lincoln Hwy, Stoystown, PA 15563

The Flight 93 National Memorial is a memorial built to commemorate the crash of United Airlines Flight 93, which was one of four aircraft hijacked during the September 11 attacks in 2001. The permanent memorial was completed, opened, and dedicated on September 10, 2011. 10 years after the killing of all 33 passengers, 7 crew members, and the four terrorists. The heroic efforts of the passengers saved an unknown number of lives. It’s been said by some that the site retains the ghosts of this horrific tragedy.

Much paranormal activity has been associated with the site of this famous 9/11 air crash. There have been reports of voices. One man, as reported by Johnstown TV station WJAC, heard a voice ask “So what now?” The guards said that they could hear someone knocking on the trailer door and then heard muffled voices outside of the trailer. Their theory is that the ghostly passengers were trying herd the terrorists into the trailer as a sort of prison, to protect those living beings by the trailer. One guard reported that while he was getting into his car the trunk went down, as if someone were sitting on it, and moments later sprang back up, as if the person jumped off. The guard also said that he saw a girl dressed in a blue baseball jersey and jeans by the park gate. She had light brown hair and glasses, and disappeared as he approached her. He saw her again in a photograph of the passengers. These phenomena were all reported by guard Robert Wagstaff in an interview with Patty Wilson. Photographs of orbs by the Memorial have also been taken. The site is a national park, and open to visitors.

🎙️ New Episode Out Now 🎙️
We visited New Hope Pennsylvania to explore The Creeper Gallery, a haunted antique shop packed with cursed dolls, ghost stories, and a chilling atmosphere you can feel the moment you walk in.

Created by artist and collector Donna Marian, the gallery blends dark art, haunted objects, and real paranormal energy. Inside, we heard about spirits like Mike the Hanging Ghost and Madeleine, the young girl believed to haunt one of the dolls.

We stepped into the infamous Red Room, filled with allegedly cursed items and artifacts tied to real hauntings. Paranormal investigator John Ruggiero from New Jersey Paranormal has explored the location several times. The footage they’ve captured is truly unsettling.

We went to see it all for ourselves
Then grabbed a slice at Market Pizza right down the street

Check it out now. If you dare.

“P Noel Rock”

The team will be in Gettysburg today at the “Gettysburg Battlefield Bash”, so for today’s Slice it’s only proper to direct people to a lesser visited monument, the P. Noel Rock!

According to the story, a young Gettysburg woman was traveling the road on a dark, snowy night. Peggy or (Pauline) Noel was returning home from a trip to Fairfield and was running late. To make up for lost time, the coachman was going too fast for the poor conditions that evening. As they approached the bridge, the horses tripped and fell to the muddy roadway. The driver was thrown to the side of the road. He looked back in horror to see the coach topple and the doors spring open. Peggy Noel was thrown from her coach. She became entangled in the large spoked rear wheel and to the driver’s horror he saw her decapitated. The head of the young woman rolled across the bridge eventually falling into the water below.
For days they searched the banks of the creek to no avail. Eventually Peggy went to the grave headless. Rumor tells us that the family did not mark the grave. They couldn’t bear the thought of visiting a site of such horror, a grave with a headless co**se. There is a rock out on the battlefield just north of Devil’s Den with the letters P. Noel carved into it. To this day no one knows when it was put there or who did it. Could it be the final resting-place of Peggy Noel?

According to folklore, the ghostly finger of P. Noel carved this inscription into stone near Devil's Den. If that isn't spooky enough, supposedly bad luck will fall on anyone who retraces the carving with his or her finger. However, it is more likely that the carving belongs to Park Noel, who was born in Gettysburg in 1868. In 1888, Noel joined a crew that helped erect monuments on the Gettysburg Battlefield. Did he make his own monument to himself on this rock, too?
