To shake things up, we gotta tackle the root causes, like putting profits over people and cashing in on basic human needs like housing, healthcare, and education. The fact that the richest 1% in the U.S. own more wealth than the bottom 50% combined is a wake-up call that we got a long way to go to level the playing field.

Let's keep the convo going, raise awareness, and join forces to take down the systems that keep wealth inequality alive.

What if I told you that you could savor all the flavors you enjoy without hurting animals? Animal agriculture is the leading cause of climate change, rainforest deforestation, and is responsible for the majority of species extinction. I didn't stop eating animals because I didn't like the taste, I ditched it because animal cruelty ain't right and I could no longer turn a blind eye to the main contributor of climate change and environmental injustice. Choosing to go vegan is a simple step you can make TODAY to start creating a positive impact.

A couple of weeks ago we were cruising around Carmel and this lady from a local jewelry store made us some magic wands. We wandered the streets, casting spells, surprising people, and watching them break into smiles — turns out, these little wands truly are magic.

Yeah, we can cool it on the consumer front but don't forget that cooperations are some of the biggest polluters out there. Remember, we can't buy our way out of this cosmic mess we've cooked up. So, let's combine our small, mindful actions with a strong push for large-scale changes, making a real difference for our environment.

Recently, and I caught a sunrise under the Golden Gate Bridge using our Oru Kayaks! What's cool about them is that they're not just foldable, but they're also more sustainable than traditional kayaks. From coast to coast we have discovered so much together and it's amazing how no matter where we go, there is always something new just waiting to be experienced. The open road is like a second home, and it's felt that way since I was nineteen. It has been an incredible journey seeing the country with someone who loves to explore just as much as me.
