Bomdong cabbage grows low and flat to the ground, developing a slightly sweeter, softer leaf in the cold.

Geotjeori skips fermentation. It’s a fresh kimchi that’s meant to be eaten right away. It’s basically a salad with Korean flavors. #봄동겉절이

We stumbled upon an old kalguksu spot near Dongmyo Market called Grandfather’s Hand Kalguksu (Harabeoji Noodle Soup - on Naver).
They were rolling noodles right out front, with giant cauldrons of broth steaming by the door — it felt like stepping back in time.
A bowl is just ₩5,000 (₩5,500 for a large), and worth every won.
Simple, soulful, and perfect for cold weather in Korea. 🍜✨

These days I have my hands full..

In the past few months I have almost doubled my followers on this account while we were expecting a baby and I’ve regained my motivation to create again. I welcome you all and I have some great projects coming up in the near future and some great collabs. But a milestone has happened in my life and her name is Juni. Choha and I are adjusting to parenthood and we will return to creating content very soon. Thank you all for your patience. We needed a break to welcome our new baby

(이문설렁탕) Imun Seolleongtang

Serving bowls of Seolleongtang for over 100 years. Recognized in Korea to officially register for a restaurant license in 1904. They boil ox bones for 17 hours to create a body warming, opaquely white and flavorful broth. Served with wheat noodles on the softer side, various cuts of beef, and rice. Salt and green onions are added to your taste.
