Back, in towel form! 💦

In the UK (and elsewhere), it’s a tradition in loads of schools that students draw a self portrait of themselves and the school gets a commemorative teatowel made at the end of the year. With that in mind we present to you the “Class of Scuffed Recordings” tea towel, covered in hand-drawn portraits of your favourite members of team Scuffed ✍️

We’re starting to defrost after our break from releases this year so you’ll hear much more from us than just the monthly Rinse residency very soon 👀

As a thank you for a great 2024, once again we’re running a Xmas giveaway on our entire back catalogue! Until Monday you can grab any release from on Bandcamp for whatever price you want 💰

As for 2025? After a few years of non-stop releases, we’re taking a (temporary) step back to refresh and recharge our batteries. We’ll still be active but we’re just taking a moment to decide where we want to take the sound of the label in the future 💪

Following Xchange earlier in the year, London’s Theorist returns to Scuffed with a high-energy journey into percussive club music on his Triptych EP 💪

“This release was born out of an obsession with vocals. To me, using vocals in dance music creates a familiar human element to latch onto and work as a hypnotic hook that firmly imprints the music into your mind. Put simply, in a sea of twisted electronics, vocals are a life raft to cling on to.” 🌊

Maude Vôs () crafted the Unearthed EP, inspired by their move to Topanga, California. Immersed in nature, Maude blends club music with cinematic elements, weaving field recordings with modular synths and organic drums. The release is rounded off by remixes from .e.se and 🏔️
