MOZZ Artisan Pizza opened in Provo in 2019, built on Jared and Erin Neiswender’s vision of slow-fermented sourdough crust and a menu that balances comfort with craft. After weathering the pandemic, MOZZ has grown into four Wasatch Front locations—including Downtown SLC and even the Delta Center food court. Their sourdough base sets the tone, from cheese bread to pizzas topped with speck, sausage, or cauliflower. What started as one neighborhood spot has become a Utah classic.

Sourdough pizza and a huge variety of pies makes MOZZ a must-visit.

Salt Lake City’s first food co-op is about to open its doors (slated for October 2025), anchoring a brand-new neighborhood hub on 900 South. The Milk Block is more than just a development project, it’s a community vision inspired by Harvey Milk’s call to “build community one neighborhood at a time.”

From the long-awaited Wasatch Food Co-op, to Equality Utah, Simple Modern Therapy, and a curated lineup of local food and retail spots, the Milk Block is shaping up to be one of the most inclusive and vibrant corners of the city.
