Australian actor Julian McMahon, best known for his roles in TV series FBI: Most Wantedand Marvel’s Fantastic Four, has died aged 56 after a private battle with cancer.

McMahon, who was the son of former prime minister Billy McMahon, died on July 2. His wife, Kelly McMahon, told Deadline in a statement that he passed away peacefully in his sleep.

“With an open heart, I wish to share with the world that my beloved husband, Julian McMahon, died peacefully this week after a valiant effort to overcome cancer,” she said.
“Julian loved life. He loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved his work, and he loved his fans. His deepest wish was to bring joy into as many lives as possible.

July 3, 2025 - Liverpool FC star Diogo Jota has died in a car crash in northern Spain alongside his brother less than two weeks after marrying his long-term partner.

The Portuguese brothers were driving into Spain on a major highway when a tyre blew out on their Lamborghini, forcing them off the road. Their vehicle became engulfed in flames.

A star forward, Jota, 28, began playing for his country as a teenager and represented Portugal at the 2022 World Cup while also playing for Wolverhampton Wanderers. He signed with Liverpool for a reported £41 million in 2020.

Jota’s brother, Andre Silva, 26, was a professional footballer for Portuguese team Penafiel.

Diogo was married to his wife Rute Cardoso on June 22, 2025.

Anne Burrell — the beloved chef known for her trademark spiky platinum hair, larger-than-life personality and culinary expertise — died on the morning of Tuesday, June 17 at her home in Brooklyn, New York. She was 55.

Reps for the star announced Burrell's death in a release obtained by PEOPLE.

She is survived by her husband Stuart Claxton, whom she wed on Oct. 16, 2021, and his son, Javier, as well as her mother, Marlene, and sister, Jane, her children Isabella, Amelia and Nicolas, and her brother Ben.

"Anne was a beloved wife, sister, daughter, stepmother, and friend — her smile lit up every room she entered," her family said in a statement. "Anne’s light radiated far beyond those she knew, touching millions across the world. Though she is no longer with us, her warmth, spirit, and boundless love remain eternal."

No cause of death has been made public yet.

Update from TMZ - Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... EMS personnel received a call of a woman in need of assistance Tuesday morning after Burrell was found unresponsive inside her Brooklyn home.

Paramedics were unable to revive Burrell and declared her dead. The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine her cause of death.

Air India has said that the passengers on its flight AI171 included 169 Indian nationals, 53 British, seven Portuguese and one Canadian.

In a statement on X, Air India said:

Air India confirms that flight AI171, from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick, was involved in an accident today after take off.

The flight, which departed from Ahmedabad at 1338 hrs, was carrying 242 passengers and crew members on board the Boeing 787-8 aircraft. Of these, 169 are Indian nationals, 53 are British nationals, one Canadian national and seven Portuguese nationals.

The injured are being taken to the nearest hospitals. We have also set up a dedicated passenger hotline number 1800 5691 444 to provide more information.

Air India is giving its full cooperation to the authorities investigating this incident.’

Australian actress and filmmaker Clare McCann (32) is trying to raise $300,000 to have her 13y/o son Atreyu cryogenically preserved after he took his life due to bullying.

It has been confirmed that Trigg Kiser (3), the son of influencer Emilie Kiser, has passed away.

In screenshots here, you can see that the Maricopa County Medical Examiner confirmed that Trigg passed away on May 18, 2025.

A 3-year-old boy in critical condition after being pulled from backyard pool - Chandler, AZ

"A three-year-old boy is in critical condition at a Valley hospital after being pulled out of a backyard pool, according to the Chandler Fire Department.

CFD told 12News that crews were called to a home on the 5000 block of Ashley Drive near the intersection of Chandler Heights and Gilbert roads.

The department said Chandler police officers got to the home first and found a three-year-old who was unconscious after being pulled out of a backyard pool.

Officers started CPR and firefighters took over when they got to the home.

The child was taken to Chandler Regional Hospital and later flown to Phoenix Children's hospital. He is in critical condition.

No other details were released. '
