Josh Wink’s HUGE remix of my track ‘Eye C’ is out now on CLR!

I’ve been playing this one for months now, and it’s really become a staple in my sets, so I’m very happy to finally be able to share it with you all.

He took ‘Eye C’ and turned it into a massive acid monster, and it always gets a big reaction when I play it.

I mean, Josh Wink doing an acid remix... you probably already have an idea of what to expect! And this one really delivers.

Massive thanks to Josh for the remix and to everyone who has been showing it love including Perc, Cisco Ferreira, Dubfire, Charlotte de Witte, Ken Ishii, ANNĒ, Truncate, Leftfield and more.

Josh Wink’s remix of my track ‘Eye C’ is out everywhere now, link in my comments if you want to check it out.

We’re going back to 2009 for this month’s CLR Podcast 💥

Ahead of the release of Josh Wink’s incredible new remix of my track ‘Eye C’, landing on CLR on 25th September, we’ve decided to do something a little different and take a trip down memory lane.

We’re revisiting the very first CLR Podcast, and there’s actually a pretty good story behind this one.

When I was recording the voiceover for the episode in my studio back in 2009, Josh happened to be in Frankfurt after running into some travel problems while on tour. He stopped by the studio, and we ended up hanging out and having a great conversation on the show about all kinds of things happening at the time (the mix underneath is from me).

Hearing it all these years later makes for a really fun listen, and it’s also pretty amazing to hear where we were both at back then.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy listening back to Episode 001 of the CLR Podcast, you can listen over on SoundCloud, Mixcloud and YouTube, peace!

Happy 909 Day!

I'm the proud owner of a machine without which the evolution of Techno would be almost unthinkable. Rarely has a drum machine had such a profound impact on an entire genre, and far beyond it.

Over the years, friends have stopped by my studio, and sometimes even met me on the road, to sign it. I keep getting it signed whenever possible. Maybe someone can make a list of all the names that have made their way onto it so far! 😄

Some people might not know what a raw 909 actually sounds like, the kick, the toms, the hats, and all the other sounds that make this machine so unmistakable. So, I've included some clips here for you to check out. 909 forever! ❤️

And thank you, Roland, for creating this machine and making billions of people happier along the way.

Coming home hits different. I haven’t played at Love Family Park for some years, and I came back with a mix of excitement and also a bit of uncertainty about how things would go down. But as soon as I started playing, I felt right at home.

Frankfurt had been my hometown for almost 30 years, and seeing so many familiar faces and old friends that I grew up with in this scene was just incredible. We shared so many memories and great times in and around this City in those past 30 years. All came together, but with the additional excitement that we are still having the same fun, if not even more than ever before.

So grateful for all these moments and years. The best is that it still feels so new and exciting, and with all the routine, experience and knowledge, maybe even better than ever before.

Thanks for this incredible two-hour journey that I was able to share with this amazing crowd and crew. Cheers to the next 30 years. Never stop. We need it more than ever in this world now. Spread love and kindness.
