Bare Beats and Dusty Ohms complete their beat tape trilogy with an absolute banger of a tape. Keeping with the concept of lawless sketchbook beats, the tape is a journey of classic boom bap to abstract lo-fi with each side perfectly complementing the other, but also the complete opposites. Hopefully this is not the last crossing of these two unique producers.

It's been 10 years since their last album 'Sweet Notes'. In the meantime, they joined the Millennium Jazz Music label and participated in several collaborative albums, also joined the prolific Jazz Jousters collective.

They FakeHunters return this year with the EP 'Life is what you make it', a 5 track Jazz-Hop project featuring talented MCs such as Philosophy Cole, Melodiq, Savior, and P Able.

Through these 5 tracks we hear that FakeHunters touch, with meticulously crafted productions that blend samples and real instruments recorded in their studio. An ideal EP to accompany all your summer evenings and beyond.

For this session we've reached out to some homegrown English talent that have been on our radar for some time. 'Life Is What You Make It' is the second single taken off the EP of the same name by the FakeHunters production crew, which drops August 2nd.

A piano driven Hip Hop Jazz piece with Philosophy Cole on microphone duty. The song has some easy listening lyrics as Cole drops some positive social commentary that's based on moving forward and making change, with the belief that "life is what you make it.

The EP also features the likes of Melodiq, Savior, P Able, and a second feature by Philosophy Cole.
