The incredible Animated Feature "I Am What I Am" is having a rare on-shore showing in Auckland at Hoyts Mission Bay tomorrow (Tuesday 21st) at 7pm as part of the NZ Chinese Film Festival. We are casting an imaginative children’s animated series based in Aotearoa.

We’re looking for voice talent for the following roles:
Māori girl aged 9 - 13 (Must have moderate Te Reo Māori ability)
Samoan girl aged 9 - 13 (Must have moderate Samoan language ability)
Chinese boy aged 9 - 13 (Must have moderate Cantonese language ability)

Recording will be done over 3 days in Wellington in late January 2024. Talent must live locally or have the ability to travel to Wellington for the recording.

All roles are paid.

Please register your / your young persons interest in auditioning for these roles with the following details:

An amazing effort from Christina Leef, Maarie Mareikura-Ellery and the Ara Taiohi team on their vital Library of Stories kaupapa. The POW Studios team were privileged to support the post production of this podcast series.

Library of Stories houses the stories of tāngata Māori who serve taiohi around Aotearoa. Library of Stories takes us into their ao to learn more about the people and places they descend from and are integral to who they are. We also learn more about their mahi in youth development and their aspirations for whānau ora and rangatiratanga.
