Number one in the UK charts today in 1987? The incredible Pet Shop Boys and 'It's a Sin'. What a tune! Their second number one in the UK, it included buried within it the words: "I confess to almighty God, and to you, my brothers, that I have sinned exceedingly in thought, word, act and omission, through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault" I know the feeling. 🤣

TONIGHT!! 8pm - 10pm. ***Edit - due to technical reasons the show it running a bit late. I've recorded it, so I'll drop it into the schedule later tonight - not sure exactly what time, but hopefully it won't be past the witching hour!*** Pop, rock, dancefloor favourites, some Post Punk, 80's New Wave, the cheesy bit in the middle and of course the Saturday Night twelve Incher! 😳 As usual, part 2 is a bit darker in places (ooer) but they're something for all you 80's lovers tonight! 😀

Apologies for the lack of cheesy ad and link for last night's show, but I'd been down at Beverley folk festival all day, working the Youth stage for Beverley FM. Some fantastic up and coming young musicians, but it was around 30 degrees and I'd been up since 6am so was a bit tired - I'm old now y'know. Anyway - thanks to all you listeners (I know there's a good few of you!) and hope you enjoyed the show. Back next week with more tunes and ill behaviour. In the meantime - number one this day back in 1983 - Mr Rod Stewart. Brings back some memories does this!
