New pub alert! Directly opposite Bruce Castle Park, there's a £540,000 refurbishment of The Elmhurst happening which will reopen the 1903 pub at the end of June following a two-year closure. The joint investment by Heineken-owned Star Pubs and its new London-based operator Remedy Bars will transform The Elmhurst into a high-quality family-friendly local with a stand-out garden. 16 jobs will be created on the back of the investment.

They are just before the Stadium on the High Road, opposite the Sports Centre.

Can't wait to try their food!

Working closely with Haringey Council, local campaign group the Last Elm and heritage consultant Rob Bevan, the project team have worked to capture and protect the significance of the small building, both above and below ground, to ensure it comes off the Historic England ‘Heritage at Risk’ register.

A huge Tottenham welcome to a new neighbourhood coffee shop: ❤️ N17 9QZ is the postcode to pop into Google Maps. It's a few minutes away from Tottenham Hale station on Watermead Way at the bottom of The Gessner. At first sight it seems like it's open to residents only, but it's not!

Why not skip Starbucks and give them a try? We thought the coffee and cinnamon bun was delicious!

Beyoncé is reportedly gearing up to announce a series of UK stadium shows for next summer. The music superstar is said to have scheduled five performances at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as part of a world tour to support her number-one album, Cowboy Carter.

The iconic Beavertown-branded pub, The Corner Pin, on The High Road has received a fresh coat of paint, and has a new chapter. Although still carrying the Beavertown branding, the pub has been sold back to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, who will now take over its operations. At a small opening party for staff tonight, a team member shared with Seventhsister, "The pub is now back in Spurs' hands. For now, it will only open on event days, but they plan to gradually extend its hours as footfall increases." With event-day openings only, it seems the pub’s purpose is primarily to serve event-goers rather than the local community. What Spurs plan to do with it longer term remains to be seen.

For a while Tottenham lacked spaces where top chefs could celebrate their food with our community. Thanks to .uk based on West Green Road, we now regularly welcome different chefs during their kitchen takeovers. It's amazing to be able to try out different cuisines and styles of food, right on our doorstep.

Support Tottenham Food Bank! Tomorrow (Sat 9th) Yard Sale Pizza in Tottenham will be having a Slice Day between 12pm and 4pm.

They will be giving out pizza slices (while stock lasts) and collecting donations (card only!) for Tottenham Foodbank. So if you fancy a slice of pizza in exchange for a donation to our local food bank, head over there tomorrow before all the pizza runs out!
